Located in an amazing corner of 4 mile. This place is a local family secret. Sorry - but it's bloody amazing. Using Sipping Duck Coffee they have nailed the coffees and offer also a single origin: a Port first I think! With German influence coming through in some of their dishes (Bratwursts' & Waffles) the taste really hits home. Knowing all their ingredients are sourced daily by Jason, him and his wife Chrissy have really nailed the perfect Port Douglas Brekky. Did I mention Juices? So fresssssshhh! The only thing is that you'll have to get used to this place becoming a favourite - therefore a line up. Totally worth it!

Have been there several times during or vacation - such a lovely place and staff!!! Never seen such great food and coffee in a café here in Germany! Would be so good to have a comparable Lighthouse built in the middle of Germany!! Plans for Franchising?!

We ordered 5 of the tasting plates, the best being the scallops, sourdough bread and octopus. The salmon sashimi was delicious but the curry sauce took away from the salmon and the beef carpaccio lacked a bit of flavour. The mains and desserts were delicious, we had the lamb rump, mushroom pasta and peach crumble for dessert. Overall great food, great service and beautiful restaurant. Definitely a must visit in Port Douglas.

Nice spot opposite the beach within The Peninsula hotel. Attentive staff. The food was fresh. The slow cooked lamb is a must order. Good wine list.

After a stroll along the beach in the morning, I stumbled across this little cafe for brekkie. Friendly service to help find a table and then QR codes to access the menu and order. They make their own hollandaise sauce which is the right balance of tangy and sensational

Hi Tide was an absolute dining delight. Service was friendly and extremely efficient. And the food was absolutely fantastic! Going back for breakfast this morning to check out their ocean view...and their brekky menu!

Great secluded spot for dinner away from the main street! Mocktails were yum, so were the mains. We had the fish of the day and seafood chowder - both were excellent! Highly recommend!

Great food, great service. We were stoked by the attention the detail service and great food. We had 4 course share menu with wine pairing. It was superb. Special thanks to Sam, Restaurant manager who was great to talk to and make us feel at home not just a customer in the restaurant. He also shows great leadership skills for other staff. He was keeping an eye on all tables and time the food coming out perfectly. I needed to take an important call and I stepped out side of the restaurant and he told the 1st share plate to come out from the kitchen when he saw me walking out. When I returned he served the food so it couldn't get cold when I was on the phone. This is great attention to detail. Thank you for a great night.

Excellent flavours to the brisket and lamb and the delicious entree. Nicely done cocktails and some great local beer rounded things out nicely. Friendly staff and a lovely outlook over the waves were a bonus. Highly recommended for a special night out away from the bustle of the main drag. A hidden Port Douglas gem.
