We didn't really have high expectations for this place, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food! The fish and chips.. Is probably the best I have ever tasted! My partner ordered this but I stole half it was that good! ( and I don't even like fish!! ) and I order the honey chili chicken - the sauce on this was yummy although the chicken was a little over cooked( otherwise would have scored you a 5!) But it went extremely well when the fish was dipped into it!!! I honestly suggest making that sauce a dipping sauce for the fish! Was delicious ! Service was great, really nice atmosphere! We will be coming back for dinner next time!

Enjoyed our night, would go again. Went for an event, first visit. Ordered wedges and a prawn/pesto/capsicum pizza, and thoroughly enjoyed both. Would definitely go again.
Not what you expect to find when you open the doors. To look at the venue from the outside we were expecting yet another blue collar suburban venue. However once we entered the venue we were blown away to see that this venue whilst being traditional is exceptionally presented with lush carpet, clean and tidy appearance and overall a nice relaxed feel.
Beer selection on tap was a little bit odd with a mixture of beers that we didn't expect to see wanting more traditional beers in a pub of this style.
Food was great and fairly priced but then I'm never one to go to a pub and order a Parmy or roast of day so maybe that's what some other reviews were expecting. Service needs to step it up if you are wanting to run this style of menu. Not that the staff were bad its just that they weren't as amazing as what we had from another venue recently in the area
The staff were lovely. The garlic bread was beautiful to look at, but had no flavour :( the Thai beef salad consisted of some beautiful beef and egg noodles with a teeny bit of salad. The mashed potato also lacked flavour, the chicken parmigiana was tasty, though, so balanced that out.
Came in for dinner last night and had a great meal. I ordered the fish special, my partner ordered the pork belly which was awesome.
The service was great with a young girl being very attentive and was very polite.
I would definitely recommend the PK to everyone.
Fillet minion was absolutely beautiful. Perfectly cooked! My partner had the chicken Parma and loved it. Definitely worth a visit!!
Restaurant was quiet and pleasant enough at lunchtime. Staff were friendly although service was very slow. Thai chicken salad was pretty good, nice fresh ingredients and plenty of chicken. Maybe a bit much dressing as dish was quite salty. Priced at $21, a bug expensive for what it was. Quite a good choice on the menu and everyone in our party of 12 seemed happy with theirs.
Does the food quality make up for the lack of service? ... Only barely.

Had an awesome night, and feed, there was a little hiccup with our mains order not going through (probably because we did two separate orders, entrees and then mains) but was handled perfectly by staff, meals were a solid 10 and staff were friendly and funny, especially Belinda who really made our night.
BEEF CURRY WAS AMAZING 😋 the food at the PK never disappoints my family love the place staff are friendly service is amazing they are great with children they supply colouring in pencils and a picture for the kids to draw on
Prices are fair compared to other venues would highly recommend the PK even had my birthday here they allowed me to bring my own birthday cake at no cost and stored it until we arrived and had eaten and we're ready for the cake 🍰

This local tavern is a great place to take the family for a relaxing meal and night out. The food is 9 out of 10 and the price is low to medium. I was impressed by the service, waiters were active, attentive, and obliging. The warm fireplace was a welcome sight on the night we were there. We all had different meals to test the menu, we were all impressed with the portion sizes and quality of food presented. 4 mains, a shared pizza, 3 deserts, 8 drinks, all up $212, pretty good.

Decided to drop in for tea after shopping and boy am I glad we did. What a great tavern. Service was absolutely spot on 10/10 for service. The menu was short but a great selection and the meals were big. 10/10 for meal. All in all, do yourself a favour and drop in for a meal, you won’t be disappointed.
