This is a gorgeous family pub, with delicious, affordable meals.
We live locally, and couldn't be bothered cooking on a Saturday night, so decided to head down for dinner.
We just walked right in with no booking, were served our drinks immediately and put in a great spot, in the cozy surroundings you want on a cold winters night.
My husband ordered a combo stir fry (this consisted of prawns, chicken and cashews) and he loved it! It was beautifully presented too, but unfortunately I was too busy drooling over my dinner to think to take photos!
I ordered the beef schnitzel with mushroom gravy and was NOT disappointed! My schnitty went from one end of the plate to the other, and was cooked to melt in your mouth perfection! The mushroom sauce was creamy and flavoursome, and had plenty of real mushrooms in there too. Delicious.
But this is not where the deliciousness ends! THE CHIPS! Just YUM. Soft on the inside, crunchy and golden on the outside, and seasoned to perfection! I could have just eaten an entire bowl of them!
My only complaint was that there was too much on the plate, and as much as I wanted to eat everything there, I just couldn't 😜.
Would recommend anyone to go to this warm and friendly beachside pub. Excellent.
Fiancée and I had lunch here today, we are regulars. Always good food :) I had the chicken schnitzel Parmy, he had the chicken schnitzel kilpatric. 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Ate lunch here with my husband as a late wedding Anniversary lunch.since it was lunch time I just ate from the very large salad and veggie bar.delicious potato bake and the roast veggies had an Asian twist with sesame seeds and ginger on glazed carrots.the chick pea salad was awesome so was the potato, pasta and Saba noodle salad.very filling and my husband who is a mainly meat eater also commented on how delicious the salads and veggies were.not an elegant place but the views looking into the peninsula were great and the service was friendly. We both enjoyed our lunch .
