Absolutely fabulous restaurant! Friendly, helpful staff and the food was fantastic, many gluten free options. I had the Chefs Mussels an my wife had the calamari with a bottle of Scotchmans Hill Riesling...... what a combination! Recommend this place to everyone

FASTER FINER FOOD REVIEW

Absolutely beautiful food. I recommend the scallop pie, so tasty. Huge calamari rings, yum, the salad is made with love. I will be back

Hungry Me

Busy little place in Summer. Delicious mussels and w chowder. You cal also buy Mussels from them and they are so cheap compared to city. Will be back again.

Pretty good mussels and oysters were very fresh. Service was good as well, seating outside provided good views of the water. Only let down was that we called ahead and asked if they had tables that would allow dogs and we were told they did. Once we got there they told us dogs weren't allowed at the tables. We managed to tie the dogs out the front while we ate so it wasn't all bad.

Overall an amazing place to dine in on our trip to Portalington. Not only was the food fresh and amazing but the view was magnificent from the restaurant. Highly recommend and would go back

Excellent experience. Super fresh mussels, direct from owner's farm. Highly recommended. Definitely worth the ferry trip across the bay from Melbourne.

very nice mussels if you're visiting for those. however they don't have any decent vegiterrian options with is disappointing. service was alright but they said they were understaffed.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately our order was missed so we waited over an hour for our main course. Management were very apologetic but it was New Year's Eve and a beautiful night out on the deck so we weren't really concerned. The food and wine were excellent and we were able to watch the fireworks from our table. A delightful evening.

Waitress was friendly and efficient. Meal and drinks arrived very promptly! We had the mussel tasting plate and now know next time we will go for the mild tomato chilli option. Also the calamari which was tender and delicious with some of the best fries/chips I’ve had in a long time and a very tasty salad. We sat on the deck which had a wonderful view. All in all a good experience and will definitely return soon.
