I've been coming here for years mainly to drink the good coffee and have cheerful banter with the friendly staff. The food was always an issue being standard unspectacular cafe fare although generous and well made. I was away for two months and walked in for a coffee and was amazed to witness the changes. The menu was much more interesting and the decor pleasant. I had a breakfast avocado dish that was cafe hipster approved. The new staff were cool and of course Sam was her usual ebullient and friendly self. Well done John, the changes were worth it!

Great coffee, yummy food and friendly staff. A great place to stop for a rest, read the paper or log in to WiFi when visiting the Preston shops. They also have a 'happy hour' now on Fridays at 5pm. ;)
