Very cute and quaint little bar with a quirky vibe, live music and nice beer selection plus staff who know the brews. I tried the passionfruit and guava Hoppy sour from Co-Conspirators, which is a favourite of mine. There's not a lot of seating so watch out if you're visiting with a big group on a busy night.
This is one of my favourite bars in Melbourne! It's so cozy and welcoming that I feel comfortable going there on my own to hang-out. It's also child-friendly, and my toddler loves his visits to Hard Rubbish. Highly recommend!
Biggest secret in the north. Hard Rubbish is a bar with atmosphere and personality. Good selection of beers and the food/snacks certainly compliment.
Staff very welcoming and put the effort to look after their guests. Not hard to do but many places don't put the attention to detail which I liked in this place.

This is my favourite bar north of Bell Street. It's super friendly and super chilled with yummy toasties and waffles, tasty beer and a nice vibe. It's definitely much-needed in this part of town and there's always interesting things going on. The owners work hard to make it fun!

Easy going, chilled out place to enjoy quality beers and wines. The most delicious veg chilli and jaffles. I love the artwork and decor. And the board games!!! The music selection is always on point and responsive crowd. So nice to have a place like this in Preston.
