This place has become our regular haunt. It’s always got a free table, the food is reasonably priced. The atmosphere is relaxed and open and the fireplace is great in Winter!
Possibly only because we’ve been here so often, the menu could do with a refresh. By that, I mean the food choices - the actual menus just got updated, and the new format is great, but the menu items are still the same. They’re all great and well made standard pub fare, but a couple of new options would be welcome.

The Royal Cricketers Arm's Pub is a historical heritage listed building that was first licensed in 1880, the pub was recently refurbished to cater for all visitors. This pub is fantastic for families, friends, workplace functions and other celebrations. Why? Because there's no gaming room, no TAB and no pool table. Thus, an opportunity to spend quality time with your friends/family and enjoy food from the pub's extensive menu, from Poke Bowls to Schnitzel with chips. Open 7 days per week for lunch and dinner. Look out for nightly specials from $15 and Sunday roasts! Oh not to mention your ears will love the live music. I especially liked the Poke Bowl with fresh salmon and brown rice. Yum! Overall, food is better typical pub food - i personally dont mind pub food but its usually not my favourite, but i feel that theres more thought put into it RCA's food,more refined and more my cup of tea haha.
We easily spent a few hours hanging out at Royal Cricketers Arm Pub filling our bellies, listening to live music and sipping mixed Tanqueray.
Its a shame that we live so far away from blacktown. RCA reminds me of the grounds but more laid back,more authentic, less hipster and more community oriented rather than tourist based. To be honest we really enjoyed RCA and would recommend this venue to locals for dinner, lunch or to celebrate a birthday/event.

Nice and cosy pub in a quiet area, next to the hotel, great outdoor space. Tried some food and drinks from a new menu at the relaunch party and it was a delicious feast. Would recommend to try burgers, cakes and mulled wine which was amazing.
The Royal Cricketers Arms is a pub situated in Blacktown, right next to Atura hotel. It recently launched its new menu featuring modern pub food and we came here to try it out at their launch party. To get started we were offered some Aperol spritz and Sparkling wine. Nothing accompanies good food like some alcohol so we were delighted to enjoy these drinks.
By far my favourite pub in Western Sydney. Honest delicious food. Honest friendly service. And no freaking pokies or TAB! Just a nostalgic English pub with cricket artefacts reminding us what a pub should be.
Food wise: pro tip is to go on Sunday lunch and get the Sunday roast. When I had it it was the pork. Came with Yorkshire pudding, yeah! The London beef pie was amazing! Probably the best pie I had! The giant pork schnitzel was giant, but not my favourite.
Hearty pub food with friendly service and a warm atmosphere. A little on the expensive side for my taste but the food is above your average pub grub.
This pub is like time has stood still. We have been visiting for years as it's an authentic pub and it's out west. The inside is so cosy for winter and the outside amazing in summer. The food is awesome and service is great...
This fantastic venue in Prospect was a memorable experience for me. My only complaint is how far it is from my home or I'd be a regular for sure. My meal, Fresh Salmon with Lemon Mashed Potato was fabulous, it was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection.
The lemon with the potato was the perfect match with the fish. It also came with an olive tapenade and tomato salsa that made the dish very interesting as well as delicate leaves on top.
Awesome venue.
The RCA gets the majority of it's points due to the venue itself. Such a lovely old pub hidden out the sticks of Blacktown.
The beer garden area out back is perfect and can't be beat on a nice afternoon.
The food is pretty good for pub food, but the servings are fairly small and quite pricey.
The cook your own steak BBQ is only available Saturday/Sunday, which is disappointing if you're there on a Thursday/Friday night.
Overall, great place to have a few beers, a good chat and a bite to eat.
Beautiful old pub with good beer on tap serving pub classics. I had the pulled pork roll and it was tender, sweet and delicious with a good amount of coleslaw to balance it and a crunchy brioche roll.
Skip the food at wet'n'wild and go here instead. If your turn right at the exit, it's less than a km up the road.

Had my son's 1st Birthday here on the weekend. Staff were great, friendly and very accommodating. We had the feasting menu for our guests and the food was fantastic and so delicious. Ourselves and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. I only wish we had ordered more. The venue was perfect and rustic and the band and entertainment we hired added to the wonderful atmosphere.
I would definitely go here again for a casual lunch or dinner or, hire the venue again for future events.

First time dropping in after seeing the place for years when visiting the SkyLine Drive Ins - and it was well worth it. A beautiful location, great little atmosphere and incredible food. $30 for a full Pork Knuckle that was to die for - absolutely worth every cent. Keen to visit again soon.
Intimate and inviting , this pub serves deceptively filling food portions and a variety of great beverages in an idealic setting. A hidden gem of Western Sydney worth the drive for.
Great place for a Sunday brunch, especially if you have dog. Very accommodating even at short notice managed to get a table for 12 within a hour on a Sunday, which was impressive. Food was great tasting and was of large portion sizes. Kids meals were also good. The atmosphere was relaxing and tables at the front were old school park picnic table style with long benches so was great for large groups such as ours. We were sat out in front but there are more seating options inside as well as in the rear garden which has a beer garden feel to it. I have been here at night and it is really beautifully lit up. Slight room for improvement would be more choice of cocktails and bottled drinks. Highly recommend for a casual pre or post movie dinner as the skyline drive in cinema is down the road.
