On our trip up North from Vic to visit family we stopped off for a cuppa and feed. Wow is all I can say. Coffee, food and service was excellent. The staff were even happy to chat about our trip. Absolutely top notch.
Great coffee, and the cakes are awesome. I've eaten here a few times and will do again. I noticed the owners have changed lately. I think the food and service has improved even more. They only have the best almond milk, and everyone who doesnt drink dairy knows what brands they are!
Have been ordering cakes for special events from Ciao for the past 3 years. After having difficult experiences with other cake shops it was a relief to find a place that catered for all of my requirements with ease. Most importantly, cakes are delicious!
Superb!!! For the best homemade fare and excellent coffee you cant go past this place. Super friendly attentive staff and the most delicious freshly baked goods! This place is well deserving of five stars, i would give it 6 if i could!! Do yourself a favour and go see for yourselves what all the hype is about, tou wont be disappointed!
Stopped in for a coffee today, and my goodness it is difficult to resist all of their tasty looking cakes! So naturally, I didn’t resist :-)
Todays “Coffee and Cake-of-the-day” was a humongous slice of lemon meringue pie! It was amazing! Lemony without being sour, and a very generous amount of meringue on top (Sorry, it didn’t last long enough for me to get a photo of it!!!)
I highly recommend Ciao Cafe, particularly as the standard of service seems to have shot up since the recent new management took the reins (based on the previously poor reviews from a month or so ago). I was certainly attended to straight away and my coffee and cake was ready within a couple of minutes.
I should also point out, the coffee was fantastic too!
