Just enjoyed a fantastic dinner here. Lucky enough to have a chat with the owner. So friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. The gnocchi was the best ever...I don't order it usually but it was a suggestion so went with it....delicious! The mains were generously sized and delicately flavoured. The dessert...yes, we made room for it...was so delectable. A custard pie of sorts not from the oven, served with strawberries, chocolate chips (actual chocolate chipped up) and ice cream. Honestly the best!
You can taste the love in every dish served. Thank you for a great meal... we enjoyed the conversation too.
You eat with not only your mouth but with all of your senses. All of my senses were satisfied last night. Sitting in such an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie with such amazing smells wafting about the place, drinking some amazing Red hearing the sounds of joy as people received their meals.....oh yes and the food. Oh the food. Terrific yet again, thank you again for being terrific hosts Carla and Fiora. Can not recommend this place enough.
If your looking for fresh, authentic Italian then look no further. Fantastic Service and even more fantastic cuisine! I’ve visited with a large group and no one could say one bad thing. This will be my regular Italian restaurant from now on.
Delicious, filling, massive serve. Absolutely beautiful. The head waiter was very entertaining and welcoming. Really enjoyed the night with family. 3 x teenage boys were stuffed!!
Great traditional Italian food. The host was very friendly and welcoming. We went on a busy Thursday night but the food still came out fairly quick. Looking forward to coming back again soon.
What a delight. Authentic Italian meals cooked the way that they should be, traditional recipes served with love. The food is not massed produced like some restaurants but is prepared as ordered and cooked to perfection, therefore there may be a bit of a wait to get your meal but the wait is worth it. If you want to try some of the best traditional Italian food around then this is the place for you.
Really welcoming, food is all home made and fresh. The owners were fantastic people who interact with their customers, you leave feeling happy and full!
Good, honest Italian food and service in a wonderfully warm & relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for an unpretentious catch up with friends.
Fantastic food made with love!. If you love flavoursome Italian home cooking, a great welcome, friendly staff and a relaxed dining experience then look no further! Tucked away in a courtyard surrounded by herb gardens is this authentic Osteria and you will soon feel transported to Italy. Flori and his lovely wife Carla will take you on a journey of taste discovery every time you visit as the menu always changes, hence the name "What's in the Pot". This is whatever Carla fancies cooking and the fresh produce available. Try this, it's a wonderful experience!

W.I.T.P is more like being invited into a friends home for a celebration than an outing to a local restaurant.
The owners greet all guests as though they are long lost friends which can't help but bring a smile to your face as soon as you walk in. It's also sweet to watch this as the night goes on.
The main menu is a nice selection of choices and it's complimented by the specials of the day which earns their own handwritten menu. Flori and Carla, the lovely owners, were also willing change things from the menus which I did with the Osso bucco and penne pasta.
The food was amazing, definitely not you run of the mill Italian which tastes the same as every other restaurant. Being of Italian heritage the food brought back childhood memories of meals I used to take for granted but now cherish as it's just not made that way anymore. The Osso buco, stuffed eggplant, spaghetti carbonara and potato lasagna were each as good as the other. Carla with Nathan made amazing meals and with Flori's passionate and infectious personality we had a joyous meal full of memories from the past as well as newly created ones.
For great authentic Italian food in a homely, unpretentious restaurant with wonderful hosts, you can't go passed this little gem in redcliffe.
This little restaurant is true village Italy. The sort of place you find in the Italian countryside when you are away from the tourist trail. Great atmosphere,
friendly service and real Italian home
cooking. It was such a pleasure to eat here.
A delicious lunch. Our second visit was again such a pleasure. The best ricotta gnocci we have ever eaten. The food is made with talent and love. Hearty flavoursome home cooked Italian food not normally found in Italian restaurants. This place will now become our weekly venue in order to try everything on the menu, plus the ever- changing specials.
