We don't live in the area and I was hesitant to eat at JD's as Thai can be very hit and miss. I highly recommend JD's, the food was delicious! Very fresh not drowned in sauce, good size servings and a blend of spices you could taste! Congrats chef and staff for getting it right!
Great Thai food in Redcliffe , excellent value, generous portions, entree chicken satay with 4 sticks and red duck curry and beef fried rice were our favourites! Will definitely be back and will bring others and happy to recommend it! Thanks!
Love this place, usually a wait of 15-25mins for takeaway...coz everyone else must love it too. But honestly worth the wait. We always order via phone then ask how long. Although were 10mins drive from JD thai food is still super hot when we get home after pick up. Everything we've tried has been delish, definitely recommend adding the coconut rice to your order!
Excellent food and friendly service. Portions are generous. Bring your appetite! They have the classic fried ice cream. The chicken pad see eiw(sp) is very moreish.
I put 5.0 because it is the best Thai on the peninsula. Good service, food comes out fast and is excellent quality. Good value as well. Will not disappoint!
Came in on a Sunday night, compare to the italian restaurant next door....this resturant is a little bit scary cause it got no one in the resturant, plus no phots on zomato or instagram or any reviews anywhere thats really put me off.....we had a minute that wanting to leave. ....but as soon as we sat down.....there are already 3 takeawya orders ...so i guess people just prefer to eat in on a sunday night.
it was a surprise ...cause is really good. we ordered a green curry with duck, a fried prawn mee (the prawns are huge and not the frozen ones), and the coconut rice.
We ordered a decent amount of food for a group to sit in the park, the service was so nice. Food was nice too, really enjoyed by all and super fast take away service, phone kept ringing with orders, people coming in and out while we waited was great value.
I flippin' love this place. Best Thai I have ever eaten in my life! I've been going here for years and the food has never wavered in quality and the service is absolutely amazing. The massaman curry, pad thai, pad ba mee, tom yum fried prawns, curry puffs, pra ram long song and thai fried rice are probably the best things you will ever eat. Also, if you're a fussy eater the meat (especially chicken) are not fatty or gross and always super tender.

Our whole family love JD Thai. They have great service and the food of course is outstanding. We always get very well looked after and you can tell the staff want you to enjoy yourself. Thank you JD Thai for being consistently excellent!!

Delish. Being new to the area we had a look on urbanspoon for a local Thai shop! There were four in the area and I'm so glad we decided on this one! Great food! Good service! We had: spring rolls, red curry, garlic pepper beef and coconut rice! All was steaming hot when we got it home and all absolutely delicious! Thanks so much we will be back! :)
Special Duck Curry # 20. Thanks for a great lunch today........... Entree's (Fish Cakes & Curry Puffs) were awesome. Mains (Thai Beef Salad & Special Duck Curry) was to die for (no longer need to go to Darwin for my Duck Curry special meal)
