Review Vietnamese Bistro - Redcliffe

Second time here, should have been here every week. Great banquet meal for a table of 5. Loved the entree selection and the Chicken Salad is amazing. We all so enjoyed every dish. If you haven't been then get your butt down here and enjoy a feast of flavours.

Such a fantastic night! About as authentic as you will get outside of Vietnam. When the chef came out at the end we all clapped and thanked her for the tastiest, freshest food I think we’ve ever had in a restaurant. They own their own trawler so the prawns and crabs could not have been any fresher. The servings were next level also! No one went hungry or thirsty - thank you BYO! An absolute hidden gem. 10 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered the fried rice and spring rolls, meal was to die for, price friendly and staff were so sweet. Despite being busy and all by herself the waitress successfully provided a wonderful experience. No too much waiting either. Bring you own drinks too, definitely coming back. Very family friendly.

My partner and I spotted these great reviews and went the next day. We had the Beef Pho and Spring Rolls. Both were delicious and we look forward to trying other dishes on the menu. The home made chilli sauce is a must. Next time I’ll skip breakfast so I can fit more in!!!

This Bistro serves the most delightful food. We had a selection of starters eg prawn rolls, calamari. Mains were a Beef dish & a chicken dish too, served with vermicelli noodles & rice . Food is Delicious! Service is excellent. We’ll be back😀

What an amazing meal. The food was fresh and with 9 of us the wait wasnt long. Probably the best wanton soup I have had. Fried rice and the prawn sensation were amazing. Compliments to the chef and fantastic service from Bob. This restauraunt is a gem. Try it once and you will be back.

The food here is super fresh. It was one of the tastiest Pho's I have ever eaten. The owner was great to have a chat to and seemed super welcoming. I would recommend everyone come on down and grab a great meal for a good price.

10/10 across the board! I have been going to Vietnamese Bistro for a couple of years now & I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Customer experience is one thing, 10/10 & then the food!!! Soooo tasty, fresh & authentic! Rob & his wife always greet with a massive smile & the most sensational food! I couldn’t rate this place higher, the location is absolutely perfect too! Right by the water & so close to all of Redcliffe beautiful spots. Dining in or taking away, food stays GREAT! Ps Redbull Chicken is to die for! You 110% HAVE to eat here 😍

The owner is always extremely rude, never once had good customer service. The food is great for value. Last time I ordered I phoned up, then when I arrived was told won’t be long I was 5 mins early. The owner (old tall man) told me next time I shouldn’t walk in off the street to order??? I explained I didn’t and we’ve already had this conversation as I was the phone order. Also don’t tell your returning customers they cannot just walk in to order. I was very confused and offended.

Average at best. Pho was average. Wrong cutlery for soup. But considering what we have available on the peninsula and the local palate, probably the best we will get.

I've walked past the Vietmanese Bistro over the past few years wondering what the food was like as it never seems busy, and by that I mean completely empty. My wife and I popped in for a bite to eat a few Friday evenings ago and all I can say is, this place should be busy! The food was delicious, delicate, fragrant and plentiful. On the whole, Redcliffe struggles on the cusine front but I have to say that this place is an absolute gem. The only thing I can think of for it's lack of custom is it's position i.e. not on the front strip. Next time you are looking to eat in Redcliffe, please do give this place a try. It puts most on the strip to shame tbh.

Food was great, good little place to relax and eat, a little oasis in Redcliffe. Staff are very friendly and food is made fresh. Looking forward to going back.

Was there at 1230 pm on Sunday for lunch and they had run out of Banh Mi despite it being advertised as a special on the board outside. Our alternate meals arrived 15 mins apart and none of the dishes had any depth of flavour. Service was poor. Maybe the normal chef was away. Quite a forgettable experience.

EEWWWW YUK!!!. I am very surprised that there are ANY good reviews for this place. Maybe I went on the wrong night? I could not eat any of the food I ordered. The crepe looked NOTHING like a crepe and looked and smelled like it was cooked in old smelly oil. The so called prawns inside...... all 3 of the poor tiny creatures....... I am sure they were out of a can. They were tiny and completely tasteless. I am 99% sure the dressing with it was from a bottle of Vietnamese dressing I buy from woolworths. It even had the very thin strips of carrot you get in the bottle. Then, to top off my stomach churning disgust, I found THREE black hairs in my food. I threw the lot in the bin. I will NEVER be going back there again. EWWWW YUK!!!. No wonder I never see anyone in the place. I highly recommend STEERING CLEAR.

Excellent overall. Have been there 4 times and each time has been very good. The variety of pho's are all very tasty, fresh and not over salted. The crab soup is again very nice. All food and complementary herbs are extremely fresh and service is prompt.<br/>Also very well priced, thoroughly recommend.

Yummmmo. My family and I usually travel to West End for Vietnamese cuisine but not any more. So glad we found this place on the North side of Brisbane!

Lovely food accompanied with the freshest herbs & a pristine clean restaurant. My husband & I are housesitting in Redcliffe for a few months & wandered around looking for some lunch.<br/>We firstly chose here because my brother & wife are in Vietnam on holidays & thought we'd like to try this style of cuisine too but also mainly when I looked inside the window it was so pristine clean too so in we went...<br/>The menu was a book full of glossy pictures & the food lived up to that - we just loved the fresh, tasty food & all accompanied by freshly picked garden lettuce & mint. I had a large 'sizzling crepe' dish which was reasonably priced & served by the owner (I assume?) who had a beaming smile & really lovely politeness. We are so glad we found this place & are going to return as much as we can & bring friends & family too when they return from holidays so they can reminisce..! I rarely ever write a review but believe many would appreciate this food but especially the cleanliness of the restaurant impressed us & warranted me to write this as often hard to find too.<br/>K & D Shaw

Avoid. When you order prawns and pay a fairly hefty price for them, you expect prawns. Not at this place. Hidden Little Gem. My wife and I visited for Sunday lunch and found this Vietnamese restaurant to be clean and not busy at all but it should be!<br/>The service was efficient and the food very authentic.<br/>We were pleasantly when the orange juice came to find it was freshly squeezed.<br/>The crepe was enormous and very tasty as was the Pho Ga (Chicken noodle soup) which came accompanied with freshly picked herbs, sauces and chilli to add at our discretion.<br/>The calamari rings were moist with a crispy crumb coating and not tough at all so I am guessing they were not the frozen variety.<br/>If you have a tight budget fear not the food potions are very large and not at all expensive.<br/>All in all a delightful experience that I can recommend to all, this place deserves to much busier, so pleased to have discovered this place and we will go back for sure!

My family had to walk out of this restaurant because the chef would not cater to one of our party who must eat gluten free. Shame on you Vietnamese Bistro!

Doing a happy dance... I was so excited to find out there was a Vietnamese restaurant in Redcliffe and after eating here I was not disappointed. I lived the decor, service and the food. Entrees came out super quick and tasted great but for me the Pho was the star of the show and I can't wait to eat my way around the whole menu :-)

Authentic Vietnamese food. Our first visit to the Vietnamese Bistro - we will be back!<br/>Pho bo - just add some sliced chilli and you are transported to Vietnam -<br/>Hoanh thanh mi xiu - won ton noodle soup best I have tasted is Aussie -<br/>Excellent value - the four of us ate for $60 -

New to the peninsula, it is great to see a local family giving it their best. For a Friday evening, especially on Valentines night, they exceeded my expectations. Service was prompt, orders were taken with no fuss and meals were delivered all in good time. Food was fresh, tasty and well priced. Freshly squeezed OJ was an added bonus as was the Vietnamese iced coffee. Thank you
