I've walked past the Vietmanese Bistro over the past few years wondering what the food was like as it never seems busy, and by that I mean completely empty. My wife and I popped in for a bite to eat a few Friday evenings ago and all I can say is, this place should be busy! The food was delicious, delicate, fragrant and plentiful. On the whole, Redcliffe struggles on the cusine front but I have to say that this place is an absolute gem. The only thing I can think of for it's lack of custom is it's position i.e. not on the front strip. Next time you are looking to eat in Redcliffe, please do give this place a try. It puts most on the strip to shame tbh.
Food was great, good little place to relax and eat, a little oasis in Redcliffe. Staff are very friendly and food is made fresh. Looking forward to going back.
Always great food and friendly service. Very authentic. Best Vietnamese food I've had outside of Vietnam and better than some I had there.

Yummmmo. My family and I usually travel to West End for Vietnamese cuisine but not any more. So glad we found this place on the North side of Brisbane!
New to the peninsula, it is great to see a local family giving it their best. For a Friday evening, especially on Valentines night, they exceeded my expectations. Service was prompt, orders were taken with no fuss and meals were delivered all in good time. Food was fresh, tasty and well priced. Freshly squeezed OJ was an added bonus as was the Vietnamese iced coffee. Thank you
Second time here, should have been here every week. Great banquet meal for a table of 5. Loved the entree selection and the Chicken Salad is amazing. We all so enjoyed every dish. If you haven't been then get your butt down here and enjoy a feast of flavours.
Such a fantastic night! About as authentic as you will get outside of Vietnam. When the chef came out at the end we all clapped and thanked her for the tastiest, freshest food I think we’ve ever had in a restaurant. They own their own trawler so the prawns and crabs could not have been any fresher. The servings were next level also! No one went hungry or thirsty - thank you BYO! An absolute hidden gem. 10 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ordered the fried rice and spring rolls, meal was to die for, price friendly and staff were so sweet. Despite being busy and all by herself the waitress successfully provided a wonderful experience. No too much waiting either. Bring you own drinks too, definitely coming back. Very family friendly.
My partner and I spotted these great reviews and went the next day. We had the Beef Pho and Spring Rolls. Both were delicious and we look forward to trying other dishes on the menu. The home made chilli sauce is a must. Next time I’ll skip breakfast so I can fit more in!!!
This Bistro serves the most delightful food. We had a selection of starters eg prawn rolls, calamari. Mains were a Beef dish & a chicken dish too, served with vermicelli noodles & rice . Food is Delicious! Service is excellent. We’ll be back😀
What an amazing meal. The food was fresh and with 9 of us the wait wasnt long. Probably the best wanton soup I have had. Fried rice and the prawn sensation were amazing. Compliments to the chef and fantastic service from Bob. This restauraunt is a gem. Try it once and you will be back.
The food here is super fresh. It was one of the tastiest Pho's I have ever eaten. The owner was great to have a chat to and seemed super welcoming. I would recommend everyone come on down and grab a great meal for a good price.
10/10 across the board! I have been going to Vietnamese Bistro for a couple of years now & I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Customer experience is one thing, 10/10 & then the food!!! Soooo tasty, fresh & authentic! Rob & his wife always greet with a massive smile & the most sensational food! I couldn’t rate this place higher, the location is absolutely perfect too! Right by the water & so close to all of Redcliffe beautiful spots.
Dining in or taking away, food stays GREAT! Ps Redbull Chicken is to die for!
