And the band played on… the owner (Ned) and band mate John sang beautifully on our arrival from the ferry. Not planned. The infectious laughter of our helpful server Rachel we drank our lattes and devoured our homemade carrot cake and read the story of Aunty Alice and the lovely Russell Island. It was the people that make this place… or was it? Had a great time thank you ❤️
We ordered the veggie burger and the seafood chowder, both were DELICIOUS! Would definitely recommend visiting here if ever you’re visiting Russell Island. Staff are friendly and welcoming and service was fast and fantastic
Great food and friendly staff with excellent service.
We had morning tea and lunch here. Friendly fast service. We had a seafood basket for lunch which was well priced and tasty. The cafe is well situated with water views, inside and outside seating and a lovely breeze.
We came up for a day to Russell island we got the Alice Aussie burger and the chicken burger. They were absolutely amazing.. Freshly made, large portions and reasonably priced. And friendly service to top

Local to Russell Island Gem. Food was tasty and sent out in really speedy fashion. Coffee was not great but can’t expect much from places like these. Service was efficient too but no niceties or smiles in sight. A bit turned off by the signage stating no changes or go elsewhere but other than that was a nice experience with live music playing in the background. Would give it a go again if on Russell Island again.

Gorgeous spot, elevated and overlooking the bay. A very short walk from the ferry. Dog friendly. Lovely friendly staff.
The well known Auntie Alice's Cafe on Russell Island, near the jetty, often the first place to visit when you get off the barge or ferry. Wonderful staff, always pleasant and helpful, your ordered meals arrive at the table without much of a delay. Big brekky our favourite, yummy!
