Our lovely waiter Chris was very nice and brought us our food very quickly. As soon as we arrive we where asked what drink we would like and writhing minutes we had water, our drinks and cups with ice. He was a G.

It’s definitely a secretive gem hidden on Victoria st. The entry looks totally dodgy but you will be surprised by the space upstairs. Staff is friendly. Once I was there for a mate’s birthday, they turn the light down and play the happy birthday song for him! Food is great and cheap. Definitely a great place to hang on a Friday night.

We did a random walk to grab a lunch around North Richmond area and we were craving of Vietnamese vermicelli rice noodle. We stopped in front of the pink painted wall restaurant as it was a stand out compared to others. The place was pretty old and vintage. The table set up was very traditional like old school "kung fu" movie. The customer service was alright and very efficient, no greeting just straight to the business "what to order?" and hot tea. We ordered Rice vermicelli with shredded pork and spring rolls for $10.90. We checked in zomato, it was $9.00. I think the menu photo needs to be updated. Anyway, the portion was generous and pretty good. The spring rolls were still hot, crunchy and well cooked. Unfortunately, the vegetables served weren't so fresh as we could see the withered vegetables and some of them had a slight colour change. The shredded porks were little bit soggy but the taste was good. Yay : speed & efficient Nay : customer service, vegetables served Speed : 4.5 Taste : 3.5 Service : 2.0

My friend spotted this little gem while out shopping earlier in the day and suggested we try it. I am certainly glad we did. The menu is extensive with around135 dishes, so there is certainly something for everyone. The decor is straight out of Saigon, with open street front windows, perfect for this warm autumn evening. I took the upstairs tour of the private function room. Free to book, free karaoke and couches. They will set up of you your needs. Prices are great. It is very clean, with great attention to detail, and it is quiet. The Chicken Rice Paper Rolls were large and spicy. The soup with shredded beef was divine, with the meat still slightly pink in places, so was tenders. For mains we order Chicken with Cashews and Stir Fried Hot & Spicy Minced Beef with Basil. It was clear that all the meals were cooked individually, and the all ingredients were fresh. The table near us ordered an eye-catching Prawns Marinated in Coconut Milk - it came in a coconut. The wait staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and happy. The girl serving us was amazing. She got a round of applause from the table next to us when she read their order back. We listened in as she explained the dished, she certainly knows her stuff. Her attitude was contagious, even customers were smiling at each other across the restaurant. Situated just off "Smackie's Corner" this place is great for people watching. This place has a great vibe, and even serves tea in a pot. I could only wish we had have been a little more adventurous with what we ordered as I kept eying off everyone else's food. We will be heading back again, as my friend said, "This is the best food I've had on Victoria Street." The waiter told us they had only been open 11 months. Places can come and go quickly on Victoria Street, we can only hope Faifo manages to hang around.

This place is awesome. Amazing Vietnamese food, which always seems to come quickly no matter how busy the place is, and it's cheap to boot. Expect cheap decor and Asian pop music. Service is basic (as it should be).
