I love this place. One of my favourite for authentic viet food. I have been coming here for years, the crispy fried egg noodles are perfect and super flavorful... the staff are extremely friendly and very accommodating.
It's got a very family oriented vibe and homey (super comfortable) 😊😊😊 would definitely recommend
Great food, always consistent quality, Ive been coming here for years and never disappointed.
I recommend the wonton soup with noodles or the lunch specials chicken satay or Mongolian beef, the Singapore noodles are also always good. Enjoy

We always come here for a no frills lunch and order the same dish - salted chicken with a choice of either rice or noodles. They give a huge bowl of rice that we could both share. The two of us usually share a salted chicken if we aren’t really hungry and it’s just nice but those with bigger appetites might opt for more. I realise that every patron ordered different dishes.. which means we should venture to try other dishes. The salted chicken to us is huge, delicious, comes with good salt and tastes delicious when you pair with chilli oil. Would def come back!
One of my favourite places for 2 dishes, salted fish and chicken fried rice and the prawn wonton egg noodle soup.
Always consistent and tasty
This was our third visit here for lunch in the last few months. Unfortunately on 2 of those 3 occasions the waitress or kitchen has made a mistake with our order. Ultimately it didn’t matter as each time the replacement dish has been very tasty but this is something the restaurant must address. This time we tried the BBQ pork and the beef and vegetables, each part of the $10 lunchtime menu. Both dishes were very fresh and tasty and more than enough for two very hungry customers. The restaurant is always very busy and meals are served quickly with little wait time.
Love this place. Wonton soup a fav. The whiteboard set menu has to be the best value $25 around. Prawns are amazing. Go there at least once a month!
The Salt Rock Baked Chicken is a must ! I think it is one of their specialties here and it usually sells out so be quick . The other things on the menu are also great and affordable
I've been used to come here often and many occasions for birthday functions and large group dinners upstairs. Today we ordered prawn spring rolls, fantastic chicken, combination fried egg noodles & bean curd with seafood. Flavours of dishes are always fantastic and excellent friendly customer service.
Vihn Khy is a family favourite and I have been coming here for at least six years. Located in a strip of restaurants serving similar fare on bustling Victoria st, there are plenty of traditional options on the menu to chose from. I always get the Mongolian beef and it never fails to delight my tastebuds. It’s cheap and cheerful but the flavours are authentic and sensational. Thoroughly recommend
Vinh Ky is located on the busy Victoria St with a variety of cafe and restaurants to choose from. It is opposite Woolies where we parked. Vinh Ky wasn't our first choice but it didn't have a waiting line and has pretty good rating on Zomato so we decided to give it a try. Service is a little slow and the restaurant is quite full. We ordered beef & beef balls rice noodles and beef brisket rice noodles. Complimentary Chinese tea was served. The pho broth I was a little salty, too much noodle and too little beef. The beef brisket was different from the Cantonese version, it looked like curry. My partner didn't mind it. I asked for traditional Vietnamese coffee but unfortunately they don't have it, only normal coffee. Overall, it's an average meal. Nothing to shout about.
Food was very fresh and brought out at perfect times.
Over the past 13 years I have brought Special Fried Rice from other places and VIHN KY has finally NOT disappointed me. I remember when noodle box actually tasted nice when I was a kid, and VHIN KY finally made me remember how nice it was.
The lemon chicken in the photo tasted fresh and the lemon sauce was spot on, not too lemony or sweet and not watery like most other places.
6/5 stars if I could.
I had Prawn dumplings and Salt & Pepper chicken spare ribs with fried rice. Food are so delicious. Staff are friendly. Will definitely come again to try other dishes.
Love love love Vinh Ky! Our go-to when we feel like having something hearty and yummy. Friendly customer service, good fishball noodles (dry), delicious fried spring rolls and rock salt chicken yums! Would always come back again and again for sure :)
Food was delicious and owners were so hospitable! We ordered the pi pi's xo sauce, seafood hot pot, pork ribs and mixed veg with egg noodles to share - all dishes were fresh and on point with flavour! We will be back :)
Excellent Vietnamese food. Great bun bo hue, really large serve for a entree size soup and the bun also ok. Spring rolls are twice as crispy as anywhere else I’ve tried. Almost like a biscuit type shell! One point deducted for the pork in the vermicelli. Was advertised as grilled pork but actually more like a Hong Kong char siu and very tough and rubbery. Staff were absolutely awesome though. Good, free tea.
