New Lsx Cafe is definitely worth a visit! big open earthy spaces, delicious food that is a class above your standard cafe breakfast, well made coffee and big friendly smiles from all the staff:)

Very quiet spot serving excellent coffee and interesting breakfast options. Try the Vegemite mayo with eggs on toast.

Driving past this place caught my eye so stopped of for a bite to eat. Was greeted with a lovely smile. Ordered the avo on toast with the goats cheese on the side!! 😱😍😍😍 amazing!! Bread was beautifully seeded and thick with ripe Avo and tasty harrissa. The side of whipped Meredith goats cheese was out of this world!! Generous portion which always goes down well. Can't wait to come back for the same dish. YUM

Interesting little cafe with friendly staff and a unique menu. I ordered the 'Three Omegas': sardines with tomato gazpacho, spiced melon, red onion and radish salad with sourdough. The combination of flavours was nice but I found all the bones in the sardines a little challenging. Next time I'd probably order something else like the pancakes or the omelette - I had major food envy when I saw those dishes being delivered to another table.

Gorgeous staff, delicious food and good coffee, I had the brilliant black sheep, tender lamb burger, served with delicious sweet potato fries, so sweet and salty, perfect..my granddaughter enjoyed perfect pancakes and a chocolate shake, just the right size for a 5 year old, thank you

Incredibly bubbly and personable staff making coffees, supremely talented chefs creating delectable light snacks and meals, all in a perfect space with a light bright and energetic feel; LSX has it all!
Love the new menu, love the vibe, and seriously love the cool quirky quotes on the board outside each day. Don't just take my word for it; you wont be disappointed!

Easily one of my favourite little cafes in Richmond, the staff there are always smiling and making you laugh, food is delicious and the coffee is even better! wouldn't miss it for the world :)

Yummy … and cute staff.Β Great coffee, cute fit out and great tunes. Will certainly be visiting again. Their coffee is great and consistent. :)

Amazing coffee and great service. I kept walking past this place and finally ventured in on the weekend. Was not disappointed. Much more relaxed vibe than the other cafes around Richmond. Highly recommend!!!

Have been wanting to try LSX for months and finally got here this morning.
Today was Melbourne's coldest morning this year so we were the second people in the cafe which was great as we got served quickly.
Service was quick and friendly. The layout of the cafe is really quite good too.
They served Almond Milk and Soy for non dairy coffee drinkers such as myself, I stuck with the almond milk flat white which was perfect. Birdman had the Watermelon, Apple and Mint freshly squeezed juice which was very refreshing.
I'm a baked eggs gal so opted for the Israeli Shakshuka With a side of gf toast. The dish was really good, one of the eggs was slightly a bit under but none the less it was still a tasty dish. The other order was Scrambled eggs on sour dough with a side of roasted tomatoes and grilled haloumi (I tried some of the this - was spot on). This was inhaled so the outcome was it was throughly enjoyed. Look forward to coming back to try some other delights on the menu.

Slow service - waited 30 mins for toasted sandwich, and it wasn't even busy. Not very attentive. Seemed like they were either exhausted or disinterested.

Nice vibe, poached eggs on multi-grain were yum and coffee was great. Service was a little slow and our plates sat in front of us for ages but once the staff had us in their sights again, they were on the case.

Who doesn't love pork for breakfast....??. Finally tried this place on Sunday with the hubby and a friend that was visiting from interstate....I believe it's new in town. Very friendly and attentive staff and an interesting menu to boot. I couldn't go past the pulled pork with crackle, smashed av, potato rosti, a poached egg (scrambled at my request) and housemade relish. All elements on the plate were delicious, apart from the rosti, it was soggy and needed some attention...but the rest of the meal was great and we'll definitely be back to try the menu again. Coffee was smooth and creamy, but will ask for it hotter next time. Options to sit inside (very cool space with artworks on the walls available for purchase) or outside on a sunny day....Worth a visit for sure!!

There ́s a great new place in Richmond. What makes you return to a cafe?
The food? Check. This cafe has amazing food. You can tell the ingredients are good quality. My Homemade baked beans with chorizo were the real deal.
Staff? Check. Super friendly and welcoming. They explain the concept of the whole space, which is much more than a Cafe.
Ambience? Check. This is a place you can go for just a delicious meal or to chill for a few hours over coffee or yummi fresh juices.
I will definitely return to LSX Cafe.

The new team started on the 27/1/15 and the place couldn't be better. The boys running this place are really friendly and create a very chilled out cool vibe! It fits the brief of the Richmond area; amazing coffee, exceptional food and impeccable service. The food is reasonably priced, unlike some of its competitors but with so much more charm and less pretensious. I will definately be returning and bringing my friends. Had a great time there today and can't wait to explore more of the menu.

Love it!. New owners opened up on Tuesday (27/01) and I've been there every day since! Yummy food, coffee is spot on and such a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, great way to start the day :)

LSX is my new third place in Richmond. Great food and reasonably priced, the Peanut Butter and Chocolate Milkshake is simply to die for.
Situated with a co-working and event space it is sure to become a Richmond institution.

Great location, nice atmosphere and good coffee. The menu is a bit too exotic however. Sometimes simple is best.

Has potential. They are just starting out and can tell that they are keen to do well. On right path...

High price, slow service average food. Greg location and fit out. Everything else average. This place would benefit from the input of some hospitality professionals. There is too much local competition for a cafe of this calibre to survive.

Waited at an outside table to be served for about ten minutes while the staff chatted to each other. We ended up ordering our coffees inside and getting the menus ourselves.

The avocado in the Herbed Ricotta and Smoked Salmon dish was incredibly unripe and had no flavour. The serving size was tiny for $17 and the measly slice of bread needed a steak knife just to cut it.

I was really underwhelmed by the food and service and won't be going back.

Disappointed. We had breakfast several times at lsx in the first weeks of opening. Things appeared messy but at least the coffee was spot on. What's happened? Came in Tuesday, didn't recognise the staff, tepid undrinkable coffee, and had to ask twice for a menu! Gave it another go Thursday, no better.
Sadly we will have to look elsewhere for our regular morning coffees.

Thanks for the feedback. The team at LSX are grateful for all feedback. We accept that weekends have been frantic as we are still setting up. It is under 10 days that we have been in operation so a little understanding is appreciated. Systems and procedures are being put into place to deal with the overwhelming demand. Thanks for your support.

Good but disorganised. We liked the concept, the food and ambience was nice. Typically chaotic for an inner city breakfast spot. The staff seem nice enough, although the place clearly lacks proper management. Whilst the coffee was good and our sandwiches delicious- we sat back watching clearly inexperienced managers. The girls at the front tried to hold the ship together but it just sunk miserably. We'll come back another weekend in hopes of there being enough staff around to order timely, if at all (we watched tables walk out). I'm a coffee snob, so have been to my share of cafes. Change something guys, you'll be better off!

Awesome meatballs. I came here with my mates today with no expectations considering this joint only opened last week! But I was pleasantly suprised by the warmth and friendly vibe and totally loved the Italian style beef meatballs with baguette! Gold !!!

Coffee Only. Firstly, the good: the coffee is very good. The ambience is nice.
The bad: the service is nice but really disorganised- you never quite know if you'll get to order or if your coffee or food is ever coming. The food is really bad- for the area and the price, it's so below average that we would never come back for food- it's a shame cos we were excited about it and the concept- recommend they get out and understand the local competition better.

Good coffee... That's it though. I'd recommend getting a takeaway coffee and leaving it at that, menu is thrown together and lacking love. I went on the opening weekend and they clearly weren't ready for trading.
