Gami chicken is one of my favourite fried chicken franchise so I was excited to see one pop up my local shopping centre Eastland. Located right next to the cinema, it is the perfect spot to swing by before/ after the movies or even to take inside.
We ordered with our eyes ( as you do ) and ended up with probably way too many dishes but I am proud to say we demolished them all. We ordered the original chicken with bone and half half garlic soy and sweet chilli chicken all on the bone. For the sides we got the potato heaven ( which was like heaven) , kim chi pancake, bulgogi beef, Korean dumplings , mozzarella sticks and some Korean chicken burgers.
The chicken was juicy and tender, crispy on the outside but still retained moisture on the inside. We thoroughly enjoyed the cheese sticks which we were told were made in house and not an item that all Gami stores offer due to how hard it is to make , I will be buying a few to snack on if I ever go watch a movie for sure.
The potato heaven is a dish I order every time I visit Gami and the one here was delicious, a lot of cheese on top of creamy mash with heaps and heaps of sour cream and sweet chilli- perfection !
All in all we had an amazing time at Gami, the service was quick and staff extremely friendly
We have been to Gami’s a few times now, and have enjoyed it every time. The service is great, the food amazing, and the jug of Korean beer.. priceless 🤗
