Review Sushi Train - Robina

Thanks to the staff for going out of their way to prepare and offer eel nigiris to me even though it wasn't much on demand

The service is at least irritating. They didn't give enough consideration and couldn't get points. Australians Men with tall glasses and short black hair Asians Lady. They work 29/05/2022 dinner time. They don't even say sorry. I've been there many times because the staff's service WAS pretty Great ,but I didn't think it was the worst for some staff. And gari (Ginger) that was free long time but now asking to staff and ordering. They charge or just today not sure. But never happen before. So I'm going to Miami from now on.

I don't usually write reviews, but I am writing it because I am impressed by the male staff in the hall who is too kind. I am Korean and I am not good at English because I just came to Australia, but it was difficult to order, so I asked for help through a translator, and thank you so much for your kind response even though you were busy. thanks to him I had a enjoy meal. :)

Sushi Train has high franchise standards, so almost any location is good. That one is similar good: fresh sushi, convenient seating plan, good location etc. Our all time favorites are: crab sushi, scallop. They are the only ones I know who serve half of the udon (and other soups) - a big + for me as I do not like big plates. They have a good selection of mains besides sushi - something that is not obvious. Try it, food is pretty good.

Now... I was recommended this by a friend, but it is definitely not as good as its marketing. They have merch... and a weird robot, food was hot. But rice was mushy and the teriaki (grilled) chicken, tasted boiled and was little smelly. I would go back, but only for sushi, not ride bowls. There are many better places, for cheaper.

Absolutely love this place . It has become my regular go to eating place . Weather it's eat in or take out . My all time favourite is fried prawn sushi and wangu beef , the food has great flavours and they add different toppings on some of the dishes each time I went. which I love because it's a different flavor and taste each time . You can also order it fresh which takes about 5-15min . It can get busy at times depending on what time you go . During the day is quite but busy as it gets darker . Waited for about 3min for a seat , they do have seating for groups. Staff are happy to help .

Would Have to be One of the Best Sushi Train Restaurants on the Gold Coast. Huge Selection of Fresh and Tasty Sushi and a Variety of Other Dishes. With Very Friendly and Attentive Staff. Great Value for Money. Has Lots of Parking Out Front & Close By.

We just had to get more sushi on the weekend and this location suited our large group travelling from all over. It proved to be a little difficult eating off a train with this many people squashed into a booth and tacked onto the end as those sitting closest to the edge scrambled to fulfil requests from everyone who couldn’t reach but it was all worth it for that delicious taste.

It clearly proves popular with all, the takeaway station was going off (they even seemed to have uber eats) and everyone from the ages of 2 to 60 in our group thoroughly enjoyed themselves. My fave this time was the dual roll which had raw tuna and cream cheese inside and raw salmon and avocado on top. It tasted as vibrant as it looked

The service can be a hit and miss but the food is great and prices end up being super reasonable for a good Japanese feed! We had at least 7 dishes between the 3 adults of us and my 2 year old loved it! It’s entertaining for them to see all the food go by and the setting is a do it yourself so expect little service in general.

Hot food left on train too long and overcharged 3 times.. I've been a customer here quite a few times, they've overcharged me three times usually with a difference of $3-5 in their favour.
You have to be really careful of the warm plates (tempura tuna/Calamari/chicken and corn balls/chicken and cheese rolls) as they tend to leave them on the train for extended periods of time until they're very cold, especially between peak times when it's quiet.

Bad food and service. Worse sushi I ever had. Had a piece of broken chicken bone in my teriyaki chicken, complained to 2 staff members they both ignore me pretending not to understand. first and last time I'll eat here

Miserable chefs. My local sushi train although after the first couple of visits they almost lost me after not making ordered food, happened twice. I find overall the chefs miserable looking and very slow with orders.
