The staff at The Brunswick are some of the best you'll find anywhere, always friendly & courteous. Meals are delicious & delivered in a timely manner. The Brunny has been our go to destination for the last few years - can't recommend them enough. Great value for money.
Went to Celebrate a Birthday on Saturday Night at the Brunny even though it was a packed house the meals my family received were on point n delicious, complements to the Chef n staff.

Haven't been to Brunswick since about 2016. It was popular then for its large meals at great prices. Partner and I had a night out to celebrate in June 2022. Staff were friendly, had a nice vibe with karaoke and meals were as good as ever.

Food was amazing! I had an Angus rump with potato and my husband had carbonara pasta. Both incredible. We couldn't eat the whole thing, it's so well served!
The environment is just like a normal pub/surf club pub. If you are looking for a fancy environment, that's not the place. But might be the food! Get a take away and enjoy it.
Service was good, we were always served with a smile and had a friendly farewell when we were leaving.

Friendly and efficient staff. Perfect portions for main meals. The steak sandwich was the most tender I’ve ever eaten. The garlic prawns were fresh and the creamy sauce complimented rather than overpowered the flavour of the prawns. The rice bed was perfectly cooked.
AMAZING food - pork and rump were delicious and very well-priced for the quality. salad was great (more than a drop of sauce, heck yes), chips were cooked perfectly and mash/sauces tasted homemade. would have been nice if the service staff acted more interested in dealing with customers rather than us having to go ask for service, but would go here again for the brilliant food, thanks Chef!
The restuarant menu featured seafood. The fish was quite good, with very good chips and lots of them.
I had the roast of the day (pork), and it was good too, but there was so much I couldn't finish the last piece.
The beer was cold, and the service was friendly. We sat inside, as music was being played outside. The music was good; we just wanted a quiet spot.
Overall, just a good suburban pub for a beer or a meal
Stopped in on our way through Rockhampton. Nice place. Saturday night is definitely a popular place to eat with nearly full capacity tables and bookings. Food is reasonably priced and was met with thumbs up from the consumers. Service staff are friendly although are exceedingly busy, at times almost running around the tables.
Wait times for the food were not unreasonable given the capacity, though some coordination to ensure food arrived at the same time can help. Children's meals arrived almost 10 minutes before the adults. That can sometimes leave fussier children creating issues once they finish while adults eat.
Music was at a good level, not loud enough to disrupt but also not so quiet that it was lost in the background. Seems as though they have the ability for karaoke, and that's never a bad thing.
All up a better than average experience.
