This place never disappoints, be it the Fancy cocktails, authentic curries or mellow-yet-bright ambience. The staff especially is very friendly. Great taste and great vibes.....
Best view to eat a meal. Went for breakfast today which was very pleasant . Had the railway style bread omelette, very different choice and had lots of delicious flavour. Coffee was so so, but food always good.
Great place, great food. This is one my my favorite Indian food place in town. Like their interior as well. And will definitely visit again.
Was hosted here for dinner by a friend. For him, this place looked like a second home, everyone in the staff knew him.
What was I expecting? Indian food modified to suit the local palate. To my surprise this place could give some fancy Indian restaurants even in India a run for the money.
The seekh kebabs and lamp chops were excellent as was the tandoori fish. The lamb curry and daal were very good as were the Indian breads. If there was some disappointment, it had to be the Biryani.
There was no room for dessert. At AUD 40 a person without alcohol, this place would qualify on the "total value" proposition list.
I checked with the adjoining table, and I heard them say good things about this place too.
Amazing Indian food with a beautiful view. The menu is a huge as my appetite when I know that we are heading there for dinner. I love all the options but we will usually grab the chicken tikka masala and the Indian beer that they are serving at the time. If you can score a table outside you will be treated to an amazing harbour view. They do takeaway and the food is just as tasty when heading home to curl on the couch and binge some Netflix or Stan.
I do like Jewel of India. When it was still open in Mascot, I would visit their take away shop at for work lunches. I have now been to their Rose Bay restaurant a couple of times. The restaurant is set in a nice location across from the water. The service was decent whenever I have visited. The food here is delicious, all of the curries I have tried were nice. I enjoyed the crispy pappadums, the naan is soft with a nice fluffy texture. The portions are a little small and the price is a little high, but then again you must think of the location. Particularly nice is the butter chicken and tandoori grill plate is a good share dish.
First of all, the location of Jewel on the Bay is just terrific. Especially when seated outside on a warm day with a light breeze as we were. The menu is a bit odd as one side are the usual Indian dishes but they also have hamburgers. The food was good and enjoyed by all!
This spot was recommended by a coworker and we thought it was great. The staff were very friendly and the food was very good and the prices weren't too bad. I'd definitely recommend the Naan, it was extra fluffy.
Love the garlic prawns here! The quality of food is of a good standard and I'd recommend it. Have dined in and got home delivery. Delivery usually takes about 45 mins to an hour so don't order when you're already hungry!
Went again last night with 10 friends, as always food was amazing, best curry in Sydney
