Great restaurant. Fabulous food and service. An upmarket decore and happy to cater for large tables. Generous portions and very reasonably priced. Thank you Chilli Blossom.
Good food. Good ambience. Price is resonable.
After researching retirement villages last year I made the decision to move into the Astra late October 2019 and this was the best life style choice I’ve ever made. Sam, Director, Aaron, Manager and Anna, Admin made me feel so welcome from the moment I walked into the beautiful Art Deco building. Nothing is too much trouble for them, always happy to help with whatever is needed and always with a smile. I’ve already made strong friendships and enjoy an excellent mix of social activities and events, here at the Astra, Icebergs and next door at The Tratt where the food is delicious and they are always happy to see us. Being across the road from the beach is just beautiful. I’m really enjoying living here 😎
I have lived at the Astra Retirement Village for 21 years now and wouldn’t live any where else. I really love it. The owner and management staff have never been better. They go over and above their call of duty to help us in any way.
It is close to the beach, public transport , excellent selection of restaurants and cafes, chemist, laundromat, convenience shops, hairdressers and short walk to supermarkets, clothing shops and much more.
For me, it was a total sea change. I had lived all my life on the land, except for a short stint in my late teens in Kirribilli.
I have no hesitation in recommending this Heritage listed, ex hotel as a perfect place for retirement.
Good community spirit here with a strong sense of 'getting it right'. Residents are friendly with the right combination of shared activities and privacy. Body corporate is easy to deal with. The lobby is heritage listed and it's amazing, like coming home to your own hotel.
How much are 1 bedroom please helpo .
