I visited this restaurant awhile back whilst on a staycation. I remember that the service was friendly, the food was good and the atmosphere was bustling. We were kindly given complimentary drinks because we had to wait for our table despite having a booking. That’s really good customer service and we appreciated it.
If you are anywhere near Rosebud, you must go eat at Milbri. Amazing Mexican food. Great staff, great food and great value. Really easy going, it’s the type of place you can order up a heap of small dishes ti try different things or just order up a big plate of nachos with a couple local beers. I can’t speak highly enough of Milbri, its always part of our plans whenever we head down the Mornington peninsula.
What a great place! We walked in, no reservation, but fortunately there was a table for two. Weren’t too sure about what to expect. The front of house were great. Helped us with our drinks, Margarita (lemon thyme coconut margarita me, Estrella for him. 👍🏻 Our waitress - it’s the wrong word, she’s so much more - was wonderful. Helped us make good choices. Had the fried chicken board, pumpkin and feta salad, broccoli salad and pork tacos. Very tasty. Serving sizes good. The only thing I’d add, is including small tongs to help share the food. A small detail. Forgot to take photos - too busy eating.
I normally post complaints, yes I'm a whinger! But this place and the "carne por dos" (meat for 2) is the best meal I've had out in a long time. Also the passionfruit cider made me immediately google where to buy it. Just awesome, congrats to whoever owns and runs the place, they with their chef have done a marvellous job. Only in town for the week, so excited to have been here on the first day, likely to have another couple of visits before we leave. Edit - my wife just criticised me for not mentioning the service which was supurb, asked how much to order and were encouraged to order less than we thought, which turned out to be just right, when we asked for extra tortillas, it was no problem and out they came. A real credit to the staff and the business generally. OK, enough with the gushing
Really enjoyed our meal at Milbri. Service was great. Loved that they have lots of dairy free options. Super accommodating.
A lovely evening meal, very good service, casual cosy atmosphere. Our calamare with slaw & aoli- beautiful. Nachos- great comfort food, but it could have had a bit more spice. The star of the show: the churros ( on steroids!), huge, dripping with choc sauce, served with ice cream- best I have ever eaten. The Argentenian malbec ( by the glass) is memorable, and a perfect match across all courses.

We went to the Milbri and ordered their meat platter. OMG this was amazing pulled pork, chicken, smoky beef and more and had sides of kimchi, sauerkraut, chips and home made tortillas. Friends had the trio of tacos which included fish, pork and jackfruit which all tasted fantastic. They do a special on a Tuesday for tacos and on Fridays they do half priced cocktails. The wine list was reasonable and the selections of beer was good. I love that they source their food locally. 10/10
Milbri highly exceeded our expectation. It looks like a small cafe along Rosebud main road, but the food was really amazing, not only tasty but also exquisite. The waitress was very friendly and considerate for us. High recommended.

Nachos are the best here! Must try! Ryan’s service is excellent. The vicinity to the beach is perfect. The coloring kits given to the kids is a nice gesture. Highly recommend.
A bunch of us went here for some brunch. A great menu with some creative dishes. Love the flavours and the Mexican touch in all the dishes. The staff were lovely here
Nice Mexican restaurant in Rosebud. Food is tasty, lots of options for drink, conveniently located across from the beach (but you can’t see the beach from here). Plenty of space around for parking making it easy to access the restaurant. Quite packed and not a lot of space (it’s not a big place), so highly recommend you book for a table before coming in. There are outdoor seating as well to enjoy the weather. Highly recommend to try the 10 tacos.
Delicious well presented food,
Great cocktails that pack a punch and a lovely fun atmosphere that isn't at all too noisy.
Hands down one of the best curated menus I've experienced.
The chef's selections for the tasting menu offered a great sample of the offerings and for once represented great value, we both left satisfied and thinking about our next visit.
+1 for the great friendly staff.
Will be back and will definitely be telling everyone I know to give this place a try.
One of the Mornington Peninsula's favourites The Milbri never disappoints if your hankering a little Mexican or a great spot to catch up for brunch.
The cocktails are dangerously delicious with the John Farnham being a great favourite, Carne for dos (meat platter for two) is amazing value if you cannot decide and just want to try a little everything.
Friday's generally has $10 cocktails which really needs no explanation how good a deal that really is.
Stand out dishes for us was definitely the Gaucho steak which for our visits was the rump steak 🥩 although on the higher end on price was well worth it, as the chef's always nailed our medium rare and the roasted capsicum and chipotle mole was just delicious.
The Szechuan wings are always very tasty but a little spicy 🔥 in case you have someone who doesn't tolerate spice well they may not handle these well.
Great service from the staff always happy to chat and give pointers or share knowledge on the dishes.
Went with a group of 17 friends. The menu was very colourful. Their spicy Margaritas were definitely spicy. A good choice. A great night out
Awesome little place! Went for a few cocktails on Sunday evening which were delicious and back for Brunch on Monday morning. Food was great. Service was incredible. Very accomodating to my nut allergy and super friendly staff.
We will be back!
