Coming from an Italian background and a long line of family cooks I personally rate this as the best place to eat besides home .End of story ! Keep up the great work .
Enjoyed a great lunch yesterday, to celebrate Mother’s Day. The restaurant was really flexible and offered us a 2:30pm sitting...as the lunch and dinner sitting were sold out weeks ago!
We shared a Margarita Pizza and the garlic crust bruschetta...they were excellent!
For mains our group selected various pastas, mushroom risotto and I opted for beef cheeks.
The beef cheeks were cooked to perfection, with a thick rich sauce and creamy mash! The fusion of flavours and the soft beef were amazing.
This is a firm favourite in our family...we have visited three times in past six weeks (each time with different guests) and really enjoyed the menu, the friendly service and the reasonable prices.

Best restaurant in the hills district! An absolute must for any function or night out with the family. Beautiful atmosphere and to die for food! Recommend the seafood platter for two, the herbed pizza, crepe brûlée, Nutella pizza, apple crumble pizza and the granchio!

Absolutely delicious pizza's and pasta at Barbara's Italian Rouse Hill.
We've experience dine in and take away here and they were both great nights. We were luckily able to dine in as they opened as they are always incredibly busy and sometimes have to knock customers back. We ordered the Fettucine Boscaiola and Supreme Pizza on this occasion and we had our food in 10 minutes. The food was absolutely delicious and the Pizza is wood-fired making it even better quality.
Takeaway we had the Margarita, Tuscany and Napoletana Pizza's and the Penne Pollo. All Pizza's were equally delicious but could have done with a few more toppings or sauce (for example, more mozzarella on the Margarita). The Margarita was simply mozzarella cheese, the Napoletana was anchovies and olives and the Tuscany was prosciutto with truffled mushrooms. The Penne Pollo was full of Pesto and Chicken and was very delicious. We ordered on an incredibly busy night and waited 40 minutes but we didn't mind as they told us this before we ordered.
Overall we have had really great experiences here and I would highly recommend visiting but you must book at least 1 week in advance.
What a fantastic italian restaurant! My partner and I loved this place! They have fantastic portion sizes and the service was great. This will be our new weekday dinner date choice.
Great food, very friendly and quick service.
We had the zucchini flowers, the polenta chips and clamari entrees. The zucchini flowers had a delicate batter that didnt overpower the soft zucchini taste. As for the main, I had I had the chicken genovese which was delicious. Beautifully creamy but well balanced with cherry tomatoes
6 stars if I could. Thank goodness for this place. Authentic wood fire pizza and deliciously made. We ordered 2 pizzas, chicken cesar salad, tiramisu and the Nutella dessert pizza. Decently priced and well worth it. The standout for us was the amazing dressing on the salad. Definitely going back to try everything on the menu.
Haven't been here for a very long time, food is 5⭐️ but serving sizes are absolutely enormous. Highly recommend

Great quality of the pizza - nicely risen though, awesome crust and quality Italian tomatoes. Topics are nice and in line with Italian pizza style.
Would highly recommend if you are after authentic Italian pizza and the best pizza in the hills area!

Went here for dinner made a booking, they were very busy and at first they couldn’t accommodate us. Frank the owner rang back and made room to have us at the last minute.
We were not disappointed, some of the best service I have ever had lovely waiter and her young son great service team, the food was great and came out reasonably quick considering how busy they were.
All in all nothing bad to say every thing was good.
I would highly suggest and we will definitely return.

Had a great experience at Barbara’s tonight! The staff were excellent- so friendly and accommodating! And the food was amazing! The portions were so generous that each serving was prob enough for 2 ppl and it’s was delicious as well! Would def recommend and we’ll def be back! Thank you everyone for a wonderful night!
