Lazeez Kitchen

We are repeat customer of lazeez and never have been disappointed with food. Chef goes above and beyond to make we have enjoyed our food. Thank you and keep up the good work :) We will visit again, soon.

Nice clean and cozy little restaurant. I went with family on quite weekday evening. Staff was polite and friendly. Food was awesome and delicious. Highly recommended.

Walking in on a 40+ degree day we were met by an empty dining room and waiters still preparing tables for the night ahead.

The dining area was much smaller than this pictures from Zomato led us to believe so we were seated behind the air-conditioning unit. We were given menu's and a while to decide on what we wanted to eat.

We went straight for the mains rather than entrees. Due to this, we waited an hour for our meals. In respect of the situation, we were given complimentary pappadums with a mint yoghurt sauce.

Our naan bread arrived first. We ordered both garlic and cheese naan and the waiter insisted that each piece be topped with both. Although this didn't end up being the case and the naan was made separate, it was absolutely delicious.

We also ordered a plate of Butter Chicken. It was a large serving for the two of us and we absolutely loved it. This very much was the centre of our meal and complimented each other meal we had ordered.

On the other hand we ordered a Prawn Marsala. The waiter notified us that each seafood meal now had an $8 surcharge added to the final price. We were okay with this at first but when the plate arrived we were disappointed. For the tiny serving given, we felt as if the $30 price did not justify the meal we received.

We received our meal but awaited the rice we had also ordered. I made sure that the waiter brought this when he left the table and he reassured us that it was coming. Once it was given to us we ate.

Overall the food Lazeez Kitchen served was at very much a high standard. Being new to Rouse Hill and with the reputation it already has it did not fail to please us. We will be returning for more of the Indian cuisine they have to offer, but we will be avoiding the seafood menu due to the surcharges they have now added to each meal.
