You don't find too many old school milk bars like this one. Their soups in the winter months are so good, their steak sandwiches, chips and mince jaffles are simple but perfect. Also love their lamb souvlaki wraps.

Excellent place for a hamburger, roast meat roll check what’s on daily, coffee is excellent to. Staff are always friendly.

The Castle is excellent! Great friendly service, great food. Has an old school milk bar vibe. You must try the hot chips with chicken salt! Their bacon egg roll is one of the best in Balmain too

The Castle is a great place for a morning tea or lunch, you can grab a nice coffee or bacon and egg roll. There's plenty to choose from here, give them a call before you go if your in a rush and your food will be ready and waiting for you when you get there. Very quick with cooking and will know your name without having to tell them after a few days. Nice little place to sit and eat or grab your food or coffee and head back to work. Go and check it out if your in the area or working near by. Very descent prices for everything your after.

This little cafe is small in stature but big on fresh ingredients and supplying what customers want for breakfast or lunch. The burger and chips are fabulous ans filli g. I take away, but there is a garden section for eating in.

The only place within 10km where you can buy good old fashioned aussie takeaway. If you want a burger with the lot in the Inner West this is the place to go.
