One of the best hotels in Queensland! We had lovely meals both nights that we went for dinner, beer was cold and the service was second to none. The friendly staff accommodated us and our 3yo son like family - genuinely great people who are masters at hospitality. We will be back next year on our annual Gemfields pilgrimage. Highly recommended place for a good feed and good cheer.

Good ambiance with lots of timber and a billy boulder fireplace. Young lady serving was cheerful and helpful. Meals were good, with small options for those with less appetite. Yummy beer battered fish, chips and fresh salad

It was good. We were a party of about 12 and we pretty much all ordered coffee and meals at the same time. There was only one girl on at the time (she had cool,80's hair. You'll recognise her) and she did a fantastic job and was super polite and upbeat the whole time while serving regulars as well. Can't comment on drink selection. It's a cool looking pub. Lots of wood...I hear either it, or an original pub burned down there but you can't tell.
