This is my go to for fish n chips! Made more awesome by the lady that is working most times I go there. As we pulled up tonight, we noticed the open sign turned off. She came out, said she had had quiet night, but was happy to turn back on fryers for us. She then proceeded to tell us we could sit in the warm car and wait, then brought our fish n chips to us! Great service, great food! Thankyou! 😁
Best fish, chips, scallops and burger I’ve had in a long while. The cooking process must be of the utmost quality as the flavour was clean, crisp and very enjoyable. I would recommend to anyone. Well done Funky Fish.👌👌

We last visited the Funky Fish Inn in mid 2017 when we spent a couple of months on the coast. We loved it then and were keen to see how the new management would be going - now that we’re back on the coast due to Covid-19. We visited about a month ago and were so happy to meet the new owner Bianca and sample their $8 special Fish & Chips. Fab. Just Fab. Took it down to Paradise Point and ate it with blue skies, sunshine and water lapping nearby. We went back again today as we were in the neighbourhood and like to check a place out a couple of times for consistency. Once more - just perfect. Lovely, big bit of fish - covered half our plate and a generous serve of chips. This time we carted the serves home, laid them in an oven tray and warmed them up 6 hours later for dinner. Still yummo. Fish was fresh, nice large, well formed flakes - I recall Bianca saying Dory (but I’m not 100% sure). Anyway, Fast, Fresh, Fab - what more could you ask for in a Fish & Chippy... And a Fair Price. We’ll be back.
