A memorable name for a memorable café. This is definitely one creative way to refurbish a church! Had the huevos rotos and panini for breakfast. I think the idea of the huevos rotos was good but execution could have been better. Chorizo was quite tough and try, tomato sauce was a little runny and potatoes didn’t have enough seasoning. In contrast, I thought the panini was outstanding though could’ve done with another egg considering the size of the panini.

Intriguing & romantic venue around an old church or convent (I think) & it's garden so you sit in small buildings or nooks around the deck etc. So kinda fun. Service is good - they responded to a complaint smoothly, immediately, professionally - a rarity so very impressed. Menu is extensive and interesting. Food itself is good but strangely not as great as everything else would promise it to be. Maybe breakfast has its limitations - be worth checking this our for another meal. Would recommend overall.

Nice little place - but unfortunately a bit hit and miss here. Have been here 5 times now - first few times the breakfast was excellent, recently though one breakfast was very overcooked and the rosti was burnt almost black . Have had lunch here and found the burgers to be nice but average. They do great Hollandaise though !

Had the steak sandwich, was a bit smaller than I expected but the flavour was good.

This is a good spot if you can manage to beat the crowds.

Set in a beautiful old church with surrounding greenery. Always, always, always order the hash cakes or fritters... On the odd occasion I'll go for fruit loaf. OH and the coffee is amazing :))

The food, the service and the atmosphere were all amazing, we walked in for breakfast not having made a reservation but were lucky enough to score the last remaining table for two.
A beautiful venue with loads of personality, friendly and attentive staff and wonderful food.

I've been to The Flying Nun about 20 times which says a lot because I don't ever return to places that subject me to poor food or service. The Flying Nun offers consistently good food, excellent coffee, and really friendly staff. The property has some interesting architecture and nice leafy areas to enjoy. It is opposite a park with a playground and the Samford Museum (open Wednesdays and Sundays) but also easy walking distance to the village's boutique shops.

My family and i were there yesterday 20.09.17.We were all very impressed with the whole thing.The food was fantastic, fresh and very tasty and very reasonably priced.School holidays were happening so it was very busy and our waiting time for the food was slightly long,but wow it was worth waiting for.We all shared a huge butter beer to.Waitress was very obliging and had a lovely smile on her face.Very enjoyable going again.

Extremely high quality food can be found at this place which is also quite reasonably priced. We had to book a table in advance as it was pretty crowded.

The place has a relaxed ambience and it was a nice place to celebrate my Birthday with my family.

There is a store nearby filled with Harry Potter collectables. Occasionally, we would see a person dressed up as a wizard walking past us while we were having our meal. It all added to the excitement of the day.

This is such a cute and unique quirky cafe to have brunch especially when you’re visiting the store of requirement.it’s just beside each other. the buttermilk chicken and waffle shouldn’t be missed! It taste really good ❤️.There were quite a few people but the service was quick as well. This place is highly recommended

Nice quiet cafe off the main street. The service, food and surroundings are always good. Street parking available. Disability access is quite good. Book ahead for a table.

Great place with a lovely atmosphere. We ordered pan-fried salmon and smashed avo with feta, loved it all. Staff was super friendly and the place has a unique tropical vibe sitting outside. Coffee was top notch too, definitely coming back.

Always a great place to come and enjoy our breakfast or scones. A little up from the main area, but definitely worth skipping the other cafes down on Main Street and heading up. Owners are relaxed, lovely and pleasant. Highly recommended. Food is always consistent and yummy.

A friend and I had lunch here today, for the first time in some years. My lunch was delicious! Great coffee too. They have a great menu, including vegetarian and vegan options. I'll definitely be going back, and soon.
