The coffee, the wine, the food... All fantastic. They should call this place YumYum Bar. My last visit saw me consume the cheese burger. OMG! I can't wait to go back. The only downer is the Main Street... It needs a speed camera and a few speed bumps!

Deliciously quirky! The menu samples authentic favours and spices from all over the globe. It's an innovative expedition of creative takes on your classic restaurant menu. The beef rendang rib share plate is to die for- a must try dish! The restaurant itself is fun and relaxed yet luxurious with its full table service, excellent staff and cocktail bar.

I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is great and the decor is very laid back but don't let that fool you. The food in this place puts most top restaurants in the shade. I moved into the area a little over 12 months ago and have eaten there at least 40 times since then. I have visited at various times of the day and am yet to have a bad or even ordinary meal. The menu changes regularly and is good value considering the exceptional quality and presentation of the cuisine.

What a fantastic night at YaYa Bar out in Samford Valley. With a creative but simple menu, the Head Chef has brought back an abundance of inspiration from her recent trip to Europe. For a starter, we had the charred sourdough with beurre noisette and dukkah, and the bar nuts with sumac and paprika. What a treat to start with! The beurre noisette was good enough by itself, however bringing all the elements of the dish together made it a special combination. For entree we shared the charred octopus special with black garlic aioli and salted chorizo. Absolutely gobsmackingly good. This followed with a small serve each of the peasants pasta, which was a perfect lead into the cloudy bay clams with buttered broth. Just wow! Creamy, rich and full of flavour. We couldn't help ourselves with it, finishing the dish almost as soon as it came out. Our two final dishes of the night were the eye fillet special and the salted chocolate churros. The EF had an amazing condiment to it, smoked baba ganoush. For me, that condiment itself was the highlight of the night. Don't get me wrong, I loved every aspect of the menu, but this just blew me away. The churros were a nice dessert, fluffy and perfectly coated.
I am definitely coming back here, again, and again, and again.

We absolutely love it here, and make the effort to visit about once a fortnight for our Sunday morning breakfast fix. Staff are great and the food is always exciting and delicious. Could not more highly recommend.

Yaya Bar and Eatery has been high on our to visit list after hearing only great things about their food from a friend at work. Last night we got around to visiting the suburban eatery which resides in Samford Village. Head chef, Chloe Donaldson, recently travelled through countryside of Spain and Portugal for inspiration for Yaya’s new tapas inspired menu.

We started off our dinner with one of their classics, sourdough with whipped Beurre Noisette and dukkah. The sourdough was beautiful and fresh and Buerre Noisette good enough to eat on it’s own (one of my favourites of the night). The bread was also slightly warmed, melting the Buerre Noisette. A little sprinkle of the dukkah and we were in heaven. Being a tapas menu we decided to order two dishes from the entrees and two dishes from the mains menu to share amongst three people. The other dishes we ordered included the sticky pork, Cloudy Bay clams, lamb ragu and the mustard eye fillet.

After our mains, the head chef made a point of coming out to ask how the dishes were and shared her foodie techniques and knowledge with us. Every single element on each dish was cooked to perfection, with many hours of preparation going into them before finally being cooked. For dessert we tried the churros with salted chocolate sauce and lime powder. The churro batter was light and fluffy and cooked for just the right amount of time. For the quality of the food, the prices were extremely reasonable. The only minor hiccup was the service which could be improved with a little more training and food knowledge.

Loved the overall experience and look forward to returning to YaYa sometime soon to try their breakfast and lunch menus.

Amazing experience out at Samford. The head chef, an absolute prodigy named Chloe, put on a culinary display beyond comprehension. Taste and presentation was amazing. So good when the head chef takes the time out of their day to come out to see you and ensure you have the best experience possible. Channeling some of the lessons she learnt from a tour of Europe, the experimental menu she served up was delish. Special mention goes to the eye fillet which was cooked to perfection, the baby squid with the black aioli and the smoked mashed potato and smoked eggplant. I guess pretty much special mention to everything. GO HERE!

Had lunch here this week with my daughter and granddaughter, on a day when most in the area were closed for the Eccka show holiday.
Very  pleasantly surprised by the menu. Food was excellent with great flavours and presentation.
Service was great, very friendly and accommodating.
Casual relaxed dining, with a great soundtrack. will be back.

New Menu is Amazing. Ate at YaYa over the weekend after having not eaten there for some time. The menu has changed quite a lot since I was there last. We started with the charcuterie and bread with burnt butter - the ham hock and pickled vegetables were delicious as was the burnt butter. We then had the beef cheek burger, cured salmon and a pork belly special all of which were great. The food was some of the best I have had in year and on a sunny day in Samford there was no better way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Killer new menu. Ya ta was recommended to me by a friend of mine who lives in Samford. I'd stopped by for a coffee before but was instructed to try out the food. Turns out yaya has hired a new young Head chef and the result is an eclectic yet solid menu filled with different items I can't wait to try! On this occasion I ordered the secret spiced thyme fries and the pulled beef cheek burger with sticky bbq sauce. I can't stop thinking about those damn chips! They were amazing (chipotle aoli was outstanding.) The pulled beef burger was scrumptious, the sweet richness of the beef cheek and bbq sauce was offset perfectly with a crispy & fresh whole grain bun and crunchy slices of cucumber a well thought out solution to the dilemma of overly rich foods!! The service was quite good. Although the waiter was a young gentleman he made a distinct effort to make sure I was well looked after while also being careful to not over do it.... With a tad more training he will be great! Overall a great meal and menu which should be a source of great pride to the owners after they took the chance on a fresh young chef! Well done!
