Sook Sabai is kind of like that 50/1 outsider at the races that you don't give much hope to win the race. But once in awhile an outsider gets up and it is the big winner of the race. This holds very true with this restaurant ! I've passed Sook Sabai countless times glancing in, but never going inside. Last night was different though and I'm so glad I did ! This place not only has incredible food, but the price is very affordable and it has an intimate cozy atmosphere. This place is truly a sight for sore eyes. I throughly enjoyed all the food that I tasted last night that I actually can't wait to return again very soon. The service is fantastic too and very cheap on the byo corkage prices at $2 a head. I highly recommend this place to anyone going by my first experience.
Run by the most beautiful family, everything we ate was divine, from the money bags and potato prawn entrees to the pad khing and sizzling beef. It's such a lovely and intimate restaurant too.
Sook Sabai is such an amazing restaurant, with delicious food in a great location. We had curry puffs, roti bread green curry, and rice which I would certainly recommend, as it was all delicious !! Recommend for all ages.
Lovely small Thai restaurant. Great attentive staff, very clean restaurant & great food. The BBQ pork with their delicious dipping sauce was my favourite and I would highly recommend! The cashew chicken did lack depth of flavour but the chicken was juicy and there was lots of cashews! I will be back for the pork!!
We're really pleased we found this little local gem. We've only had takeaway from here, but haven't been disappointed yet. Delicious and fresh tasting
Good solid Thai food.
We had take away beef Penang, fish cakes, spring rolls and roti. The roti is very nice balance of chewy and flakey.
Will revisit.
This is probably the nicest Thai near Sandringham, with friendly staff and good honest Thai food. Generally worth grabbing a bottle of wine from one of the shops nearby and taking advantage of their reasonable corkage

Delicious! Let try by yourself.
There was pretty nice thai foods here, let try.
Let do it ! At Sook Sabai Thai Restaurant.
You will love this restaurant.
Great service and atmosphere as well as delicious food! The curry puffs and pad see ew were my favourite. Will happily recommend to friends and family.
This is good Thai reasonably priced. Having just moved into the area, have tried 3-4 other Thai places but I won't be trying anywhere else for Thai now for a while.
Had a lovely lunch at this new gem in the heart of Sandringham! The service was friendly and prompt. The interior was small but cozy. The food was of a good quality and was the most authentic Thai food I have had in the area. The green curry was perfectly spiced and had lovely fresh veggies. The pad see ew was also very tasty. The lunch portions were generous and fairly priced. We will be regulars!

Such a nice Thai Restaurant in Sandringham. I and my friend did enjoy the atmosphere along with an authentic Thai taste!
Nice staff tho!
My partner and I stopped by on our walk home with our dog and had the most delicious meal accompanied by absolutely impeccable customer service!
We eat spring rolls, Thai chicken mince salad and red curry with coconut rice. All were great, however the Thai chicken salad was a surprise favourite, with great minty, chilli flavours!
Finally, the waitress and staff were extremely welcoming of our dog, and as we were the last ones to leave they even gave him a few bowls of freshly cooked chicken (which he also rated 5 out of 5).
Overall a great experience.
We will be back :)
Fantastic authentic little gem of a Thai Restaurant. Located in Sandringham Village presents a Cosy and Intimate dining by a fabulous family business where nothing is too much trouble. A favourite with the locals and equally popular with diners coming from all over Melbourne . The Menu is full of Thai favourites and cooked to reveal an authenticity that others strive for but often don’t attain 🤗
Very friendly family owned business serving great food.
Absolutely amazing experience. Went for dinner with three friends and we ordered the Thai Red curry, pad see ew and pad satay. Every single meal was fantastic as was the service by the girls. They're so lovely and great in what they do. Would definitely come back here :)
