Quite possibly the best Lebanese restaurant in Sydney. The food was amazing, and the staff were so friendly. I live out in Bankstown and will definitely travel back here.
Order close to weekly or at least a few times a month. The food is simply awesome. Always fresh, always tasty and we always eat more than we should because it's so good!

This place is fairly new and honestly one of the best lebanese restaurants ive ever been to!!! The food is fresh and full of flavour every bite takes you on a journey it is seriously incredible. The pricing is pretty good aswell and the staff are very nice. Definitely a place ill be frequenting.
My Husband and I eat out often but don't have much faith in most of our local restaurants unfortunately. We wanted to stay local last night and had planned to have a late dinner with friends. We all felt like Lebanese food and thought we would give
The Cedar Sofra a go. What a great surprise. The food was so tasty and fresh. My Husband's background is Lebanese so we know great Lebanese food when we get it. We were very impressed and excited. Mo was very welcoming and we were greeted with smiles by all the staff despite the fact that it was later than 9.30pm and they were winding down for the night. Mo was very friendly and shared that it was a new venture for him and his family and they'd only just taken over the restaurant 3 months ago. He has big plans for the restaurant but one thing is for sure - they will be very successful if they keep serving great food like the food we were served last night. We will definitely be back. They deserve the support of the locals.
The best Lebanese food I've had. More generous servings than al aseel and the food tasted fresher. Beats charcoal chicken places for flavour and the meats were juicy and tender and not just smothered in salt. Excellent service and the hosts were more than welcoming. Best tabouli by a long shot
Best garlic dip ever. This place is on par with al aseel and the service was great. We had takeaway and the guy helped carry the food to the car
Went there last night with my 18yo son. Wasn't expecting much to be honest and it was random as we couldn't get into the old standard, Bamboo Court, across the road, but absolutely loved the food. I've not eaten Lebanese that much but thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was spot on too. My son didn't want everything in the cedar plate, and without prompting they replaced those things he didn't want with alternatives.
The blond waitress was really nice and helpful, I think my son liked her ha ha😍 (dad thought she was great too but far too young for me!)
Only negative is the toilet could do with a revamp and the main room was a little chilly.
Will definitely be back - could so go some of that chilli dip right now!👍
Great authentic Lebanese food! Great service. The Cedar is a great lebanese restaurant. I've been here with my partner on a busy Saturday expecting the service to be lacking, but to my surprise the staff were cheerful, thorough and helpful with any questions we had.
The food was very tasty & authentic, it came out suprisingly quick & had the perfect balance of herbs & spices. Compliments to the chef!
Had dinner ther last night and found the service to be absolutely amazing, everyone who came to the table to serve us was so lovely and generous with their service there was a great family vibe to the place, you can tell the owners care about their patrons. As for the food..... i have no words, the BEST lebenese cuisine i have had, so fresh and tasty, really generous portions and the owner bought us extra pickles and toasted bread. Amazing!! And overhearing the staff talking about wanting all of their customers to leave happy was really great. We rolled out of there with very full bellies so happy and we will absolutely go back!! Give it a try!
My partner and I enjoyed a lovely meal here. The food here is so fresh and flavoursome and the staff were so polite and made sure we were looked after even though they were so busy. I can't wait to come back!
WOW! WOW! WOW! Took my son and daughter here for the first time last night and was completely blown away. The tabouli and fattoush was fresh and tasty and the meat was basted in a brilliant sauce - really really yummy! Some of the best Lebanese food I’ve had. Met the chef - a young guy but absolutely brilliant mate! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Well done Cedar Sofra- we’ll be back!
was walking past, seen the great vibe that the shop was offering, so i had to enter to see what i was missing out on and i didn't regret it. The food, setting and service was the best Lebanese cuisine that i have ever had in Sydney. The lemon chicken garlic was amazing and i will be back to have seconds.
