Warm Welcome With Excellent Food
I visited this restaurant several times with both family and friends and even a nice quite dinner with my partner. All visits have been excellent and I cannot fault the service and food of this restaurant. We've been to this restaurant so many times that 'Helen' the manager knows our family and has memorised my partners name because she always books the restaurant.
Summary
Location- How can you fault a location where you can see beautiful views of the water. The restaurant is conveniently located in the premises of the St George Sailing Club. There is plenty of parking.
Food - Excellent. I have always enjoyed my meals at this restaurant so has all of my guests. We recently had a 60th Birthday at this restaurant where we had approx 30 guests invited. The staff as well as the chef did a great job to bring all the food on time and correctly. A lot of the guests enjoyed their meals and when I have returned to this restaurant with my partner, I have seen those guests also enjoying a meal with their partners and families.
My favourite meal would be the Chicken Schnitzel, Chorizo Linguine and Chilli Prawn Penne. The Meat Platter would be the next to try.
Atmosphere - I really feel comfort at this location. This restaurant is a 'chilled out' easy going atmosphere. The staff are terrific and have absolutely terrific service. The are always cheery and happy to help.
Unless you have a set menu or it is agreed with the staff beforehand, once you are seated you will be given a menu to choose your meals, you will then need to go the kitchen window and order your meal. This is more of a bistro type.
Value - Excellent service, terrific views and fun environment... you'd expect to pay slightly extra however the restaurant is excellent and extremely well priced.
I live 50 minutes drive from here however I eat at this restaurant at least 2 - 3 times a month. This is a quiet restaurant that you can enjoy a meal with friends, family, couple and still able to hear each other talk.
Highly recommended.
Cheap dining spot with a view? You gotta grab yourself a Scoopon deal (when it next comes up again) to St George Sailing Club. We enjoyed our three course meal with 6 people as a birthday celebration for my Grandma. Our table was reserved right near the breathtaking wall to floor window (photo at the bottom). Just a surreal, calm and great atmosphere. We noticed this place was also great for birthdays as we were seated next to two birthdays! It is also converted into a large function area when booked (My friend held their engagement party here). We were a little disappointed that we couldn't exchange our wine vouchers for soft drink. Normally with scoopons they are quite lenient, but not here. The food and service was great so it didn't bother us too much.
We had a great night enjoying the most relaxing views in the St George area. They've got a development plan to make this place truly remarkable and I can't wait to support it all the way. Great staff, ample parking and like I said, the best views in the St George area. 5 stars once the development is done.
A nice place to watch those water activities, and relax for a cup of tea or coffee. Please BYO, there is no cafe around.
Nice place on the water and next to beach. Easy parking. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Good food and menu. Seems a bit outdated generally but the very nice location makes up for that.
Laidback chilled place to relax on hot summer days with fantastic water views and a huge outdoor deck. Food isn't fancy but the ribs and kumara chips are awesome, and portion sizes are huge. Decor could do with a revamp but nonetheless the staff and atmosphere are lovely and laidback.
I went for lunch on sunday nice food nice people and beautiful sèa view. Thanks for good afternoon
Still rebuilding, but it looks like it will be the best sailing club in Sydney!
