Belmore Hotel, Scone

Great food!!!!!. My steak was perfect the way I like. The best I have ever tried. Great menus, not like other pubs. Talented chief, he creates his own unique and dilicious menus. Highly recommended. Super friendly staff.

Staying at the Belmore Hotel Scone, Booked a room for one with shared bathroom. Generally not a fan of a shared bathroom, pub or other. However, If there is a pinnacle of a shared bathroom experience, this is it !!! Clean tidy and reminded me of a classy Barn Style bathroom, spacious, clean with that-your in your own room feel. You’d struggle to find a bathroom as good in any vip suite. As for the room, a lovely quaint clean country style room that oozes a style & craft. 10/10. Staff were fantastic and more than helpful, with a genuine interest in your experience. “Superb” As per food, I researched steak. . . And it didn’t let me down. Scotch fillet cooked perfectly, ( which tells me it’s a clear focus of these supreme Chefs) Enjoyed it with a Scotckmans Hill Shiraz from Mornington Peninsula, the Perfect accompaniment to such a lovely steak. All in all, loved my experience and soul rate each area 10/10. Don’t miss this place, Wonderful. All in all a Fantastic experience that clearly is not a fluke. These guys know what their doing. Went for dinner, was a surprize new owners and chef . Kazz & i tried garlic bread & panko prawns, the mains were fantastic no exceptional. Hard to beat anywhere we finished up with a desert of cheesecake. Nice bottle of sauvignon blanc wine. The service from the two young waiter's was fast & correct everytime. The atmoshere was quiet maybe some background music not Acca dacca 9 out of 10 gotta leave some room for improvement Try it see for yourself Cheers guys great job
