Slide on in to a stool at the bar and order a cocktail from the menu. There's plenty to choose from but not so many that you get overwhelmed. You really can't go past the mulled wine. It's awesome! The bar entrance is hidden from the street but once you're in you'll be warm and cosy. Food is delicious too from the neighbouring Greek place. Five stars!

Well worth the work it takes to find this place! It's a hidden gem. Enter through Buckley's Café & Cocktails. The staff were amazingly friendly and knowledgable and the cocktails were delicious. We enjoyed some food too! I would highly recommend Lay Low to anyone who wants a stylish yet relaxed outing.
😱Lizzie’s first impression: such a hidden gem 💎 the bar is literally through two sets of door, one of which requires a door bell to be let in. What an entrance. In fact, it was so good I came back two consecutive days in a row - the bar tender remembers me (yes I’m the one asking for more ketchup and hot sauce)
🍩Lizzie enjoyed: as you enter the bar, you instantly get a warm and chilled vibe - the drinks menu is delicious. The fries are on a whole new level here - it is crispy and fresh out of the oils, seasoned with feta and herbs - simply delicious. I also tried the chips with chicken and it was just as tasty. Drinks were great and the bar tender knew what he was doing. What’s even better is that they give you a small shot to try when you arrive and I can confirm, it has been a different on every day!

Was introduced to this place by a colleague at work, and it was absolutely lovely. There's a huge childlike sense of excitement to opening the door to a hidden cafe/restaurant/bar like Lay Low. In addition, the staff were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. We had The Parent Trap cocktail (staff recommendation), a G&T, chips to share and a kebab. So delicious & I'm definitely coming back. Especially excited to be recommended a place like this in the west.
What a fun little quirky bar! And it is hidden too 😂 love every bit of this place. Use of interesting ingredients, original cocktail with truly modern and playful flavours! Will be back for more definitely.
