I’ve been here twice with my husband now. Once for dinner, once for lunch.
First of all, food is great! Great quality ingredients, great serving size and great variety!
The dinner menu is quite extensive and includes brioche bun burgers (we loved the Oh Canada), the fries are to die for and we tried an adventurous baby octopus with soba noodle salad and were literally drinking the flavouring from the plate.
Prices are reasonable for this caliber of food and staff were polite and helpful.
It may be worthwhile arriving early because we waited for 40-50mins on a Saturday night for our food to arrive (we just cycled there but didn’t mind waiting for a casual sunset dinner on one of the outside tables)
We came for lunch on Friday and the crowd was all gone. The beetroot salad is worth trying - I couldn’t believe they made something so healthy taste so good! And the sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection.
Apparently it’s also BYO ;)
While the decor is simple, to me that means they put more effort into the food (which is what we come for really)
10/10 will continue to patronise
Had the best burg, was served to me by a chatty young blond guy, I think his name was Sony like that electronics brand...? You could definitely see his passion for the place. Hospitality like that is hard to come by these days. If I had cash at the time I would have given him a nice tip. A great venue for a few $5 VBs and a feed with the boys. Definitely recommend
Had a wonderful night. The menu has a great selection of tapas foods and main courses. The food was extremely good, freshly cooked and great value. The service was friendly and professional. Already looking forward to going back.
