If you are in Brisbane and you are looking for pacific island cuisine, look no further. Sia’s Takeaway is one of very few pacific island food vendors in Brisbane so it is quite a gem.
They do a range of island food (predominantly Samoan) from Povi Masima (salted beef chunks) and Sapasui (Samoan Chop sui) to steamed taro and green banana cooked with coconut cream (fa’alifu).
If you are after variety this is the place for you. However I do warn that you could easily end up spending upwards of $20+ on yourself depending on your choices and add-ons.
Note: If you are on a diet this may not be a good choice for you 😂
Food is always great and delicious. But the Asian lady on the customer service, very very rude. She actually was getting annoyed when I was ordering more food.
Hands down the Best pacific Island food in Brisbane probably QLD. Great portions and value for money perfect for the whole family, on a Sunday after church. The Lamb Buns will change your life. Customer service is great and the place is always pumping great music really sets the vibe.
Fresh food everyday!
It's worth the drive from Cleveland.
Always stocked with our favourite soul food.
Fast friendly service all the time.
Thank You everyone
My partner & I discovered this place awhile ago and have been coming back for more every time we are in Logan. Food is very delicious, consistently of high quality, and the prices won’t break the bank. Some of the best island food I’ve ever had. And don’t even get me started on the lamb ribs... 🤤
The owner is a really lovely lady as well. She’s often busy but when she wasn’t a couple of times we’ve been there, she had a nice chat with us.
Food always good. good value love the buns and everything else .my go to place after a big nite
It’s quite sad seeing the reviews said about Sia(the owner) because she is such a blessing to the community and to the islander folks in town. She has a warm and welcoming spirit if you really get to know her. Every time I go to her store with my partner and daughter, she always has big smiles and welcomes us and starts conversation. The people complaining might have just caught her on a really busy day and the traffic might have gotten the best of her. Sias takeaway is usually ALWAYS BUSY. This is the best pacific island food store I’ve ever been to by far. The quality of food Sia serves is the best in the business. From her lamb buns to her chop suey, chicken curry and lamb ribs and sweets(try it all). If you’ve never tried island food, you are definitely in for a treat. Sia, you and your team are doing an amazing job representing all the polys through your skill, hard work and gift of cooking bringing many cultures in to try our food and uniting people a little more. My partner is Australian and her favourite food is Sias. From a proud Samoan local👍🏾
