Review Papaya Pog Pog Restaurant - Springvale

Very homily cooking not the best not the worst… I would still return to try the rice dishes. We had the pad Thai, has the wok “air” but somehow missing the thai influence. More stir fried Chinese flat rice noodles. The standout was the lao salad. with crushed crab! I would definately return for that alone.

Great Thai food in Springvale when I go shopping in the market. Thai street food isan style.

First I pass this shop look not really nice place but the food is really good. The best papaya salad in town. I’ve so many places but this is the best. I give 5 star.

I thought place could do with updating was no one in there which is normally a bad sign found the customer service fantastic food wasn't great asked for really chilli hot I've had hotter meals at kfc food had a strong ginger flavour

Incredible flavours are to be discovered within this hidden gem. This is as authentic as Thai food can get. Amazing!

So we parked the car in Springvale and were super hungry for a late lunch. Found this Thai place which was a little hidden looked to be quite authentic. They had a great menu reasonably priced. When the flavours of the dishes came out they were strong and vibrant. The food was so delicious and the use of authentic thai flavours and spices took me back to Thailand

Food was awesome, the atmosphere was average but the Thai and Lao sausages definitely make up for it. We got the prawn pad Thai, flavours were great. Ohh and I almost forgot the spring rolls, dammmm they were good. Definitely worth giving a go.

Yum!! Will be back!! Authentic Thai. Little hidden gem in Springvale that I always drive past. My friend has been dining at this place for years and we have decided to come here tonight. Reasonable priced. We got a steamed rice, coconut rice, curry prawns, Tom yum seafood for $40.80<br/>The lovely couple who owns this place has 5 young kids, wife cooks, husband takes care of the front, their eldest daughter helps waitress in her school uniform. Family orientated restaurant trying to make a living! However if you can't stand kids a bit of noise definitely order take away. Food was great. Highly recommended!

I've been there several times, the food is so tasty & authentic. We usually spend around $70 just for only two of us, it's not because it's expensive but everything is so delicious that we cannot decide so just order them all like there is no tomorrow.

Dirty .. rubbish. This place should be closed down been there 3 times after the first time wasnt impressed gave it 2 more chances .. never again... the restaurant is like a child minding centre .. owners kids running around playing on dinning tables using utensils as toys........other patrons sitting around drinking.. food is not fresh not tasty ... owner cant read or speak English ... I wonder how health inspector ... gives them the ok to operate table tops dirty from food scraps

Cool genuine Thai food straight outta Bangkok. Great pad Thai- also red curry is a winner winner chicken dinner. Springvale wins with PPP

My friend recommended this place and its definitely one of the most authentic thai restaurants i've been to. <br/><br/>Neslted amongst the viet restaurants is papaya pog pog - a family owned thai restaurant. The decor is very very basic but the food is fantastic, cheap and hearty.
