Been coming here once or twice a week for months. Food is delicious and service is great. It’s so nice to have a great Veg restaurant in this area. We can’t go past the honey chicken and lemon chicken... SO GOOD!

This is easily my favourite place to eat out. The food is almost always amazing, I recommend the sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken, honey chicken or any of the duck meals! They’ve truly mastered the art of mock meats! And their entrees are out of this world, the sesame prawn, roti and wontons are easily my favourite!
Very tasty, been here 3 times. I would say though sometimes the dishes are a little bit too salty but no big deal. The veggie dishes almost look and taste like the real deal. The colour and texture of their imitation meat is realistic and tastes nice. Took one star off because on the first visit we found a piece of metal sponge in a dish. However, will be coming back even as someone who isn’t vegetarian. Decor is questionable haha
This place is so good! Definitely 100% recommend the honey ‘chicken’ (my fav out of everything), ma po tofu (I found it to be a smidge spicy for my personal taste but perrrfect with rice) and bbq ‘pork’ buns (soo good). Everything I tried was delicious!!!!
This place is underrated. The food is consistently amazing, I never have any complaints. Everyone I have dined here with has always left speechless.
Always a good experience when I am here with friends. I love the Nasi Lemak and tofu dishes; would highly recommend! As a vegetarian who also does not eat the 5 pungent vegetables (garlic, onion, spring onion, leeks, chives), this restaurant caters to my dietary needs! Service is great as well!
Overwhelming choice of dishes for a vegetarian, so great to be able to choose absolutely anything from the menu. We had the honey chicken with fried rice and beef with black bean also the Veggie Fin Soup and Entree's. Highly recommended, as quick service, delicious food and great prices.
Absolutely outstanding. I haven't eaten meat in 2 years but after my Veggie Bowl experience today, I feel like I'm starting as a Vegan from day one! Service was unbelievably fast, and certainly at no expense of taste.
Delicious vegetarian food they serve! They have a big range of dishes and it wasn’t expensive, it was affordable. Service was pretty friendly, would definitely come back again.
Thanks to recommendations on zomato I ordered the sweet sour chicken, Peking duck, roast duck with fried egg noodles, special fried rice and stir fried snow pea shoots. All dishes were delicious, but my favorites were the roast duck with fried egg noodles and stir fried snow pea. The special fried rice had the nice wok smell but the rice was not dry enough. All dishes were surprisingly not oily & came out so quickly. The restaurant appeared clean and spacious, so great for large groups. Highly recommend coming here if you are in the neighborhood.
Absolutely love vegie bowl each and every time I go there! Food is always amazing (especially the lemon chicken) and comes out considerably fast even if there’s lots of other people in the restaurant
This place is amazing! Great food and service. I had the sweet and sour abalone mushrooms, which were amazing, and so much better than any real meat you could have. The fried won tons were nice but not my favourite, having a steamed option would have been great. My boyfriend had Char Kway Teow with no egg which he liked. Our friend who is not vegan and was very skeptical about mock meat absolutely loved the “duck” he had! Said it was better than any actual duck he’s had before. The servings are big and reasonably priced, though not as cheap as some similar non-vegan restaurants. Can’t complain though because an all-veg restaurant is already amazing! We were last in the restaurant and didn’t realise, but the staff were very patient and waited for us without hurrying us up, which was very sweet.
The food is nice and veggie friendly. The coconut rice is yummy. The pepper fish is nice but a bit too salty last time. Staff are friendly. I went with my besties and she is in love with the place, quote “their coconut rice is amazing” providing the fact that she is not a fun of coconut rice. After tried mine, she orders it every time after church.
Started with satay skewers- dry but very tasty with its sauce.
Fried chilli noodles- very tasty, large serving with lots of fresh veggies. Super tasty!
Tried Vegie Bowl for the first time. We had:
1 . Chicken satay skewers
A little burnt and dry in texture but still tasted and looked like real chicken.
2. Spring rolls
Nice crunch and decent taste.
3. Fried noodles
This was the letdown dish. Very oily and the noodles had all that burnt black stuff from the wok attached to it.
4. Preserved veggie and pork
The pork belly actually looked and tasted like pork belly. The preserved veggies were nice though a bit sweet.
5. Mixed vegetable stir-fry
Happy with this one. Lots of fresh and colorful veggies and no reused oil tatse.
6. Tofu vegetable claypot
This one was good too mainly because everything was fresh, not oily and no reused oil taste.

Lovely restaurant. Great for vegan/vegetarians which is why I went there. Food servings have a good portion size to them and there is a wide variety of dishes to choose from to suit your tastebuds. I recommend the lemon chicken and the mango sago!
Have never been disappointed with the food each time I’ve been! As a vegan I may be a bit biased in saying the mock meats are very realistic however I have been with many meat eaters who think the same, I definitely recommend everyone who may be a bit sceptical to give it a try! Food is always delicious, service is quick and the prices are very reasonable.
My top recommendation: Satay skewers!!!
If you don’t like places that do faux ‘meat’ dishes with gluten-based products and soy derivatives you won’t like this. However if you are prepared to suspend disbelief and let your tastebuds do the thinking for you, give it a shot. I can’t eat this stuff all the time, but I think it’s nice for a change and you have to admire dishes that have the texture of fish, duck, lamb and chicken without having a scrap of meat in it. The sweet and sour ‘fish’ is really superb. The place is noisy, and it doesn’t serve booze to wash down the beef curries that are not really beef (a real shame), but it’s worth a visit. This place is on the way to bring a major franchise- mark my words.
This has to be one of my favourite restaurants ever!!! And it’s all vegan/vego!!! The quality of the food is consistently incredible every time I have come in (I go at least once a fortnight Lel). Seriously just hit this place up. Even for non vegans/vegos out there, you’ll like this place. Really really really good food that comes in decent portion sizes and is quite affordable too

This place is exceptional especially for vegans. They do mock meat well and their flavours are ridiculously good. You have to try their satay skewers. Even meat eaters have been very impressed with this place. The food tastes fresh, serving size is great and the price is very good value for what you're getting. Have been back a handful of times already and will keep coming back! The service has also been very prompt every time I have visited.
My partner took me here for my birthday and it was genuinely, without a doubt, the best meal I have ever eaten. We ordered crispy chicken, Singapore noodles, seafood bird nest, tom yum soup and sweet corn soup. The litre of sweet iced tea complimented everything Even my carnist partner was satisfied! The staff were attentive and knowledgable about the food. I was hesitant considering that there is no garlic or onion in the dishes, but I was happy to be wrong - everything was delicious. And the alcohol free venue was a genuine blessing. I can't wait to go back!
So quick and delicious - they do not add MSG, onion, garlic or meat to their foods and its amazing how 'normal' and even extra delicious the food is. Its pricey considering no meat eg a plate of nasi goreng and 4 mock meat satay skewers is $18 but I think its worth it for a break from meat and also clean yum food. Love and have strongly recommended it to many. The Tom Yum Noodle Soup is the best I've ever had EVER.
I love love this place!!! Perfect for vegetarians :) The assam fish is to die for - spicy and tangy. The wontons and satay chicken taste like actual meat. It can’t get better than this. Highly recommend for vegos and malaysians. Oh and don’t forget to try the durian ice cream if you love durians!
So this is a must go to place. Don’t worry about the really badly decorated interior and decor. (And don’t pay attention to the layout of the food either) Walk right passed that and go order some food. Food is out of this world.
Absolutel 10/10 from me. The mock meat and seafood were scarily close to the real thing to the point where they had me doubting if it was a mock or not.

If you are vegetarian or vegan and up for something different, vegie bowl offers plenty of dishes with mock meat in their menu. There are spicy and non spicy options. My favorites are Assam fish and curry laksa.
Came here for cny and the food was ace! Everything that was meat mocked was actually so delicious, this is probably the best vegetarian food I've ever had 👌 everything was flavoursome and fresh off the wok/pot! I highly recommend 👍👍👍👍
Came here last week to try out this branch - i regularly eat at their forest hill location and i quite like the menu! The menu here is the exact same. This place is quiet still, decor needs some improving as well. Quality of food is good and the dishes came out at lightening speed! I hope they will get themselves onto menu log for home delivery! If theres anything id recommend - the pomfret fish dish, the large entree share platter and the japanese tofu and veg dish are my 3 top favourites!!
I ordered take away few times in here. I ordered honey chicken, lemon chicken,sweet sour pork. I am really happy with the taste and the portion. Will definitely come back.

My favourite place to eat!! They cater for my onion allergy and being vegan, which is quite a lot to ask for when eating out. I would recommend it to everyone, especially vegetarians/vegans! The staff are friendly, the service is fast and the value for money is excellent! Thank you veggie bowl!
Came here for a SAT lunch with the family. Family friendly place, waitress was pretty good and provided some good suggestions as we didn't know what to get.
Prices at first looked pretty expensive however the dishes are big and honestly at the end the bill didn't come to much, less that I expected even.
Food was good as well. The oyster mushrooms were super crunchy and the 5 spice duck was also recommended. Surely didn't disappoint.
All in all, good value for money, good tastes and good family atmosphere.

Place is brilliant for a veggie binge, i do however not appreciate the fact that vegetarian items are still referred to animals. In saying that that is a personal opinion and i understand meat eaters eat there aswell.
They are very well priced.
Do not go here though if you are gluten intolerant.

I'm a vegetarian on Saturdays and always searching for quality vegetarian restaurants to fulfill my religious goal.....and I found Vegie Bowl. As a fan of Vegie Bar and Spud Bar,I'm so happy to have my vegetarian meals in Asian style for more alternatives. All the food we've tried here is delicious and huge. An extensive menu makes my life much easier. I just pick anything on the menu and it's done.. no hassles. Service is nice and adequate. The price is reasonable comparing to portion size. The venue is spacious and clean. I do highly recommend all vegetarians out there this place for a change. I'm sure eating Asian vegetarian meals has never been easier than this. 👍👍👍👍👍
A vegetarian joint with mock meats! As A Huge fan of Tofu this place was ideal. Great flavours in foods given no onion and garlic. Good hit of chilli as well. Everything was well cooked...
Wow i love the dishes in Vegie Bowl. As a non-vegetarian person, i was fool alot with this dish. One of the dishes "Pork belly" was actually eggplant, that was a nice experience to appreciated vegetarian dishes. I should consider cooking mock meat for once. hahaha
Delicious food! Omni friend and I really liked our vegan meals. Good price for the big servings, we had plenty of leftovers which I love. Will definitely return to try more things on the menu. Also good service, everyone is very friendly.
Decent vegan and vegetarian options. Had the sweet and sour pork with fried rice and was very happy with it. Shared the salt and pepper tofu and was not disappointed. I also tried some of the curry laksa and found it flavourful.
This venue is much better than the one in Forest Hill. I would definitely come back.
I've been to Vegie Bowl Forest Hill many, many times and thought I'd try the new Springvale location.
The food is amazing, the mock meats are delicious and flavoursome. They are also reasonably priced and portioned!
Vegie Bowl is 100% vegetarian but there are so many vegan options or meals that can be veganised.
Hands down my favourite dish is the salt and pepper abalone mushroom, spicy and crispy. I also love their take on 'drumsticks' - crispy, flaky beancurd.
The service is great and efficient, but I would love to see their dessert menu grow. Photos in the menu would also be helpful as sometimes the name of the dish isn't enough. The decor could also use some personality.
My first trip here and won't be my last ! Staff were friendly and service was very attentive. Our food was bought out pretty quickly and was delicious! I highly recommend the satay skewers and the lemon chicken. Meals were reasonably priced and very filling. Bonus we went during grand opening promo and got 20% off our bill ! Thanks veggie bowl see you soon :) also sorry about half eaten pictures kept forgetting to take them because the food smelt so good we had to eat straight away.
Had dinner with a mate a couple of days ago and the food was surprisingly good. The sweet and sour pork and abalone mushrooms are a must have. The place is spacious and the staff are really friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Came here with my friend as he suggested that it is a fantastic place. I have never been a big fan of vegetarian, however i was very surprised with the food presented. I ordered honey king prawn and meegoreng and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely will come back next time i visit melbourne again. Thumbs up!
Finally a vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Springvale!! Bought sweet and sour "pork" and hot and sour soup both were delicious!! Only negative was that I ordered the sweet and sour pork with fried rice together and got the main size instead and had to order white rice as an extra which ended up costing me more.
