Review Sharetea - Springvale

Alex King
I give a four stars. Wish they had sockets (power point) so that I can order and drink here while working with my laptop 💻 Because they Sharetea Springvale doesn’t have sockets so that I have to go somewhere else to drink their tea and work. As a freelancer, I would say that it is really an inconvenience

Bought 3 drinks tonight at 7:28 tonight. Had the Okinawa on my way home. There is a staple in it!!!!!! The food safety is very worrying. When I get home I drank the Thai milk tea at 8pm. The mini pearl stuck together can’t suck up. The food quality is very worrying too. Never come back again and will keep complaining to consumers center.

It usually is a great place to get bubble tea but today was just not the day. I decided to get Okinawa Milk Tea with pearls and it ended up dreadful, usually it tastes really good but I'm not sure if it's because a trainee/new staff was making it. I felt like throwing it up due to the taste and smell of it.

Really nice, very Asian style drinks but LOVED the Thai Tea, great on a cold night. Staff were very friendly and services was fast. Would have given 5 stars but the seats were soooo cold to sit on.

I ordered oolong tea with cream top There is no cream top and they won't take action

I order through ubereats and it looks exactly like the picture! It taste great and the pearls were cooked to perfection. Definitely what I needed today ☺️

Since the new management, the quality of the milk tea deteriorated. The greed and dishonesty may contributed to that. I ordered a milk tea with less ice but ended up with a milk tea with full of ice. As a result, the milk tea is very watery. I confronted the shop before and after my drink to let them know about the issue but the feedback wasn't well received. I probably going to miss the good quality of milk tea rather than sharetea. Sigh.

Love their mini pearl topping! Sharetea is the only bubble tea shop selling mini pearl in Aussie.

(Guy who pays with wristband)

Great service and drinks every time! Definitely recommend Sharetea Springvale to all lovers of Milk Tea Drinks!!!

The tea was ok but we have to wait for very long line. When it was my turn, both pearl and mini pearl are running out.

Excellent customer service, friendly staff and delicious ice teas!

The most bublicious tea in town! Loving it!

I don’t gravitate towards sharetea often but today I saw a sign for a coffee crush drink. So I decided to try it. It was really bland, coffee was watered down and low grade quality.

The merry mojitos selection was perfect for summer! Light and fresh!
We loved the flavours!
It is a little too sweet for my taste though so if you are not a huge fan of very sweet teas, make sure you ask for less sugar!

I got the 3 bros tea which was milk tea with pudding, herbal jelly (for health of course) and pearls. I got less sugar and it still tastes really good! You can really taste the notes of tea which is great and is nice and refreshing on a hot summer's day. And for the price I say it's worth it, from around $5.50-$5.90 WITHOUT toppings. I highly recommend this place (btw I got this at their new location in Keysborough)

Always a long wait even if there’s only a few people in the store. As well as the long wait, they quite often forget the toppings. We’ve received no pearls twice, even though they were paid for.

This is literally the worst drink I have ever had in my life easily. I’m not sure what Sharetea is going with this drink. I tried out the Strawberry Mojito, and it tasted like absolute garbage, like rotten lemon. No strawberry flavour whatsoever, and pieces of lemon everywhere in the drink, like do you guys want me to choke on little pieces of lemon?. It is almost impossible to drink it. The actual drink looks nothing like in the picture showed there. False information. I would rate it 0/10 if I could. I’m not ever coming back to Sharetea again.

The milk pearl tea was delicious and creamy and the tapioca pearls were amazingly soft as was the herbal jelly. Only downside was that you couldn’t taste the cheese foam on top and I asked for half ice but got no ice at all, which was weird. A bit overpriced compared to other tea places and there seems to be a lot of competition on the main strip of Springvale!

Had mango milk tea, the tea was good, unlike some places where they use powder that taste artificial. If you use liven you get a little of the cost back

I love grapefruit green tea with pearls very nice .staff very nice high recommend for the fruits tea that so nice and delicious I love so much

This Sharetea consistently delivers; it is generous with toppings and the service is efficient and friendly. I prefer this one over the ones in the CBD, Eastland and Box Hill.

Bubble tea cravings met after driving here. Quick service balance of the drinks perfect. Place always has a line so needed to be checked out. Nice refreshing bubble tea.

Thanks for the tea!

Go to place for me for bubble tea as I find it the most natural tasting with unsweetened pearls. Will continue to update this review as I try all the combinations. In general when possible I will ask for half sugar.

1. 7/10 - tiger milk tea. Just like normal milk tea but with with burnt sugar. Okay tasting but I think I prefer the original. Definately looks great with the streaks of yellow throughout

Whilst a lot of people still prefer Gong Cha, for some reason, I have never really been a fan. And here we have Sharetea and I think it's a great addition to Springvale. When you have bubble tea, usually you fall into one or two categories; you drink it for the drink or you drink it purely for the pearls. I mainly drink it for the pearls but I still want my tea to be a good one. Sharetea's milk tea has the right balance of flavours and it's not too sweet and what I love about them is that they are generous with their pearls, I always get a mixture of their normal and mini pearls.

Sharetea has a fantastic loyalty card which allows you to either upsize your drink or to have any free topping of your choice. The cost of the card is negligible and it pays for itself almost immediately.
Being able to adjust the sugar and ice level is great. Today we ordered the jasmine green tea followed by green tea, both with mini pearls. If 'cute' was a taste, then those mini pearls tasted very cute.
Service at Sharetea is always friendly and efficient so it's my favourite place to feed my ever growing bubble tea addiction. Who doesn't want free pearls right?
Big Belly Full
Ordered a large taro milk tea with pearls, less ice and less sugar for the first time since Sharetea opened in Springvale. The pearls were perfectly chewy. The taro milk tea was milky and thick with a lovely after taste, it felt like I was drinking a slightly diluted milk shake. Overall a pleasant experience with a new bubble tea competitor in Melbourne. Service was friendly and quick. Expect a similar price range here compared to Chatime and Gong Cha.
FOOD TRIP
Share Tea is another option when you have a milk tea craving in Springvale. Extensive menu options that can suit any taste. Flavours and pearls were average. Probably wouldn't come back. Okinawa Milk Tea with Pearls (regular) ~ $6. Couldn't taste the difference between okinawa and regular milk tea. Average pearls ★★★

Good teas, fast service and open late. I like their assam milk tea with mini pearls and Okinawa milk tea. They are the only bubbletea place in Melbourne to offer mini pearls as far as I am aware.

I ordered Taro Milk Tea and Matcha Green Tea.
Not satisfied with Matcha Green tea at all. It was so watered down that it tasted more like a sugar water. I don’t understand why I should return to this place to be paying $6 plus for sugar water.

got a milk tea with pearls. as soon as i put my straw in the cup overflowed and spilled everywhere in the car. not happy. the tea was a bit bland and milky. needs to be stronger. pearls were ok. a bit hard in the centre though. wait was too long for a drink. 15mins. needs improvement.
Just...very dissappointed from the taste to customer service. Being the only customer in store at the time, I waited 10 minutes watching 5 employees taking turns handling my tea. Hopeing the taste would compensate, it didn't.
Hello. Imnikki
With 4 other places nearby that sells bubble tea, there was strangely a never-ending queue at Sharetea. Curious to find out why, we joined the queue when we noticed that it was at its shortest. We got ourselves the mango cheese whipped cream crush with mini pearls and it became clear why. Tasty, refreshing and the mini pearls were just the right texture and sweetness.

As a rule of thumb, I always ask for only 30% sugar and but because this was a fruit-based and not milk-based tea, it was still a bit sweet. Thankfully the salty cheese whipped cream helped balance out this sweetness, and also offered a smooth creaminess to offset the iciness (both in terms of texture and temperature) of the drink.

There were ample of friendly staffs to serve the customers and prepare the drinks, so there’s really no need to worry about the queue at all.

WAY TOO MUCH SUGAR been added. the hand is feel very sticky after holding the cup and I could not find anything to wash my hand while driving. feels like drinking a sugar water

why bother to spent your time here? the price vs that cup size, i am surprised how I have to wait over 15 mins for a small cup of tea with more than 6 staffs working in store (CLAYTON ROAD)!

I've had Sharetea twice since their grand opening. The first time I went and had the Pearl milk tea had a copious amount of toppings, and the tea tasted rather nice. The second time I went and had the 3 Jelly variant resulted in a disappointing amount of toppings, and wasn't an enjoyable experiencing after the first few sips. The customer service was very friendly, and was easy to communicate, but took a while for my order

I love Sharetea Springvale. All their drinks are so delicious, I love their Taro Milk tea and Okinawa Milk Tea and for the fruit tea I love Kiwi Fruit tea, I can taste the fresh kiwi they use in their drink, it’s so refreshing. They have excellent customers service, staffs working their are so friendly and care for customers. Excellent, excellent, excellent!

There are so many different bubble tea places in Springvale. I really wanted to like this place but in fortunately I have not been very impressed with this one. Had 2 of their popular teas and I suggest not to reduce sugar.
EatToLive
My new favorite pearl milk tea outlet. Not only is the milk tea cheaper than its competitors, it is just delicious, nice and subtle. Service is more friendly than others too, which it’s really nice to see ‘customer service mind’ from them. If you are a member, you get a large size for a regular size price. Highly recommended 👍

We ordered warm with half sugar but instead we got cold with full ice, after we notified them they made a new one with full sugar but we could not be bothered anymore. It tasted like powdered milk tea because we couldn't even taste the TEA. There's definitely better in Melbourne or around your local areas. We gave it a try and was disappointed, had three toppings but was only happy with the herbal jelly and rainbow jelly, the pearls weren't too chewy. I'm not usually one to review but this was disappointing.Paid $7.30 for a large cup of disappointment and I'm heading to buy actual tea now at elsewhere

Newly opened milk tea franchise in Springvale besides happy cup. Lively music and colourful interior. Milk teas are wellmade and the sweetness is jusy right. Pearls are fresh. Service is great and staff are friendly.

Another popular export from Taiwan it has their own little following, well known for their fruity flavours. I went to their opening where they had a 2 for 1 offering, sure enough a legion of bubble tea addicts were in line. They had plenty of staff to handle the volume however.
I got their green tea with whipped cream cheese and pearls. There's no proper way to taste the cream cheese by itself unless you lift the cover which they actually suggest you do and combine it with the tea. Together it's a great marriage of flavours, sweet and salty, creamy and refreshing. The pearls were top notch on the day, some of the best I've had. It did become a bit too sweet in the end so it's a balancing and preferential choice so I'll definitely be tuning it down next time. May be one of my favourite spots for bubble tea if all the chains are of this quality and consistency.
