Best fruit tea I have ever tasted outside China. Lots of fruit pulps, not overly sweet.
I ordered a grapefruit green tea with no sugar. The drink had lots of grapefruit pulp and some fruit slices. The flavour of green tea was aromatic and strong. Overall a balanced, fruity drink.
There is a milk tea shop every 10 metres you walk in Springvale but this place is the best. The serving is big, you can share a cup with someone or have an empty stomach before you order. I always go more the cherry tea
Friendly service and clean shop. The watermelon cheese tea tasted so fresh and very reasonably priced
It sometimes feels like every other store in Springvale is a bubble tea shop! New tea has been around for awhile but I only made it here recently. Trying to curb my out of control bubble tea addiction has been a challenge and New Tea has not been of much help.
The store had a minimalist fit out with quite nice music in the background. Staff were friendly enough. I had the brown sugar milk tea with pearls. The drink was quite delicious and not overly sweet. The pearls were chewy and addictive. There was just the right amount of thick brown sugar coating the cup.
Will definitely return to try their other drinks in the future.
This place stands out from the other tea places at Springvale. The interior is very minimalistic a lot like the tea shops in CBD. I got the crème brûlée brown sugar milk tea and it was really good. The pearls were nice and chewy. I didn’t mix the bottom and towards the end I drank a whole chunk of sugar but that was my fault so overall this is a really nice place for milk teas in Springvale!
The creme brulee milk tea is the best. The milk tea tastes like tea and they actually blowtorch the sugar to get the crunchy sugar top. The pearls are also nice - soft and chewy. Will be trying other flavours but the creme brulee milk tea is better than any other bubble tea place 👍🏽
4.5
New Tea is definitely one of the prettiest bubble tea store making beautiful drinks. The staff was really nice and friendly. I tried a rockmelon cheese tea, which was really good and fruity. It was very well blended and the cheese topping was light and creamy.
I got their creme brulee milk tea/ was super good and the pearls were nice and chewy. The cup however is quite small compared to other joints and only comes in one size for these drinks.

This place caught our eye for its minimalist and very clean look! The menu wasnt overwhelming and there were a good variety of hot/cold, fruity/milky, cheesy etc etc to choose from.
We had the Creme Brulee Brown Sugar Milk Tea and the classic Matcha Milk Tea. ZOMG ZOMG... THEY ACTUALLY FLAME TORCHED THE BRULEE 😱😱😱 that is next level.
Highly recommend and will definetly return to try other flavours!
New Tea is one of my new favourite bubble tea joints! I decided to try one of there cheese foam varieties and let me tell you, I’ve been craving it ever since! I’m actually quite sad that they only have one shop in Melbourne. They should definitely open more because they’re actually super delicious.
I ordered the Cheese foam match and Oreo tea and it was divine. I really liked the creaminess of the cheese foam and the matcha tea was delicious. I highly recommend trying this one out. It quite unique. Especially the addition of the oreo which gave it a nice sweet, chocolate crunch.
I will definitely be coming back here and would love to try out their other teas!
Best matcha cheese I have had. Matcha was thick and creamy. The only down side was the portion was very small (a lot of ice cubes).

The inside of this place is so nice and simple.
As for the tea, I got the creme brûlée brown sugar milk tea (with pearls). It was a lot happening at once, but still really enjoyable. Definitely one of the better teas I’ve tried. Each separate aspect was really well made.
If you don’t like very sweet flavours, don’t get this one.
Creme Brûlée milk tea is awesome. The warm black sugar pearl at the bottom is so soft and chewy. The overall balance is great! I wish there is a large size for this!
Love the original milk tea with amber pearls. Pearls are very chewy and you can definitely taste the tea in the milk tea but not just the milk. It deserves more crowds! However, there’re space for improvement on the other flavours like the cheesy mango.
Tried 3 drinks here - Purple Sweet Potato Milk Tea, Cheese Lychee and Cheese Peach. My favourite was Cheese Lychee! I've seen it with my own eyes, they mixed freshly peeled lychee flesh with some tea into the blender, no wonder it tasted so fresh and healthy. My personal preference was not to have the cheese foam on it which makes it more refreshing on a warm balmy day. We dropped by many times, the staff was always pleasant and patient each time we went. New tea is definitely growing on me! It is way underrated but surprisingly good in every way.
New tea is a fairly new addition to Springvale bringing the finest bubble tea to the south east, such a popular and thriving place can see why. The orange green tea is definitely a hit for me. I love this whole tea experience nowadays.
Came here Saturday night and it was rather quiet, no queue at all. The girl who served me was smiley and service was good. I got the cheese black tea with amber pearls. She advised if you like chewy go with amber, if you prefer 'crunchy' go with the black pearls. I didn't have to wait long at all for my order. I think the cheese foam at the top was quite yummy but as I got to the end it was actually quite sweet. I would have thought any cheese with tea would be a weird combination but it works great together! Will be back to try other drinks.
Update: Came back to try the Grape Cheese, one of the newer additions. It felt somewhat a healthy drink because it seems lots of grapes were used and you get chunky fruit bits. It was surprisingly enjoyable for both my partner and I.
I am always up for trying bubble cups. Came across this place in Springvale. Not as busy as others. Great service and Great Bubble cup. The tea was fresh and well balanced. My new favorite place

Holy moly! Came here to try the new creme brûlée tea and it was amazing !!! Love the brown sugar with the milk tea and pearls , the creme brûlée was creamy and delicious with the tea and also on its own . The drink did get sickening as you can not adjust the sugar levels
Was in Springvale for dinner and decided to get some bubble tea for dessert. As we were queuing at Sharetime (hubby wanted Bubble tea from Sharetime), I noticed New Tea 2 shops away. Passed some money to hubby for his bubble tea and I proceeded to New Tea. Was greeted warmly and the guy at the counter recommended the cream brûlée milk tea. Decided to give it a try. It was awesome! The quality of the tea and pearls was definitely higher. Sweetness of the tea was just nice and the pearls were great. Its a bit pricey but worth the quality you had paid for. Will come back to try something else next time. Good job guys and thank you for the great bubble tea!
Creme Brulee milk tea is so good! Definitely something different and its not too sweet. Feels like a drink and dessert in one. Service is good, nothing to fault here
The creme brulee milk tea is so delicious! The fact that they actually brulee the sugar in top is awesome. It's creamy, the pearls are soft and chewy and you get a few crunchy caramelised sugar bits with every sip. Will be back to try more of the menu.
A milk tea shop newly opened in Springvale. Loved their decoration as I walk in. Simple yet elegant. I’ve ordered a classic Matcha pearl milk tea and my friend had a mango cheese tea. Two drinks are both quite nice. Keen to try some other drinks here next time!
Ordered:
- Creme Brulee Brown Sugar Milk Tea with pearls (Sweetness can't be adjusted)
- Grapefruit Green Tea (Less sweet)
Enjoyed the burnt sugar top of the creme brulee milk tea. The tea flavor was a bit weak and the price was a bit expensive for the size of the cup.
The Grapefruit green tea was a bit sweet, should've gotten even less sweet.
Gorgeous store ❤️ love the simple design, the tea is on a different level, at first glance it’s just another generic bubble cup shop. The menu seems a bit foreign to me at first but to my surprise it is ridiculously refreshing and addictive. The fragrance of the fruit tea really stand out and distinct while the milk tea were creamy and mellow. Even after 1, 2, 3 cups you can feel the consistencies knowing it will be perfect every time.
I’m From reservoir and would drive almost 30km once per week just to treat myself, friendly and enthusiast staffs really made my trip worthwhile. I gave it 4.5 because it’s too far from home 😆.
I thoroughly enjoyed my cup of brown sugar brulee pearl! It had the right level of sweetness, & the pearls were soft & chewy (definitely what I look for in a bubble tea)! Looking forward to try their other unique flavours such as sakura oolong tea & strawberry cheese tea! Indeed keeping up to their name, New Tea, & stepping out of traditional flavoured bubble teas!
Went to Springvale and found this newly opened milk tea shop. Staff very friendly and ordered onlong milk tea, nice flavour and healthy drink as well. Atmosphere also very bright and good. Give full score will definitely go back!
On an occasion, I made my travel to Springvale, stopped by New Tea, its eye catching clean, neat sleek interior and logo design had my attention. Cashier/staff acknowledged my interest with a warm smile and guided me through with menu. Ordered a Creme Brûlée Brown sugar pearl milk tea as it stands out so quick, just because i wouldn't never think of this combination could make this experience so content. I was surprised the mouthful brown sugar taste last til the end of the drink. I can't wait to go back and try more from them, and I'd high recommend the service they delivered, its warm, sweet and thoughtful. New tea just made me craving again while writing this review!
Newest milk tea place in Springvale bringing a simple and modern design into the area. Their tea is so rich in flavour tried the brown sugar milk tea and also the strawberry cheese. The cheese was very rich in flavour a bit different to the other bubble tea stores and combined with the tea made the drink ten times better! Will go back and try the sweet potato milk tea.
Sooner or later one of these bubble tea places is going to have their bubbles burst (hopefully the housing market), Springvale is just oversaturated with them! New Tea is the newest on the block, I came on their last day of their promotion period, no crazy lines however. They are going to have to do more with their social media, I could not find any "New Tea" anywhere online. The deal was buy a bubble tea and get a honey sugar milk tea for free. Good thinking as they can just mass produce one type of tea without getting hamstrung.
The 'honey sugar milk tea' is much like Gotcha's 'black sugar fresh milk', syrupy and needs a quick mix to incorporate the sweetness. Enjoyable and not sickly sweet though the pearls were a bit in the 'too firm' basket. I also got a rockmelon cheese tea, it's hard to go wrong when they use fresh fruit! Didn't make full use of the little mouthpiece as I had already poked a hole in the cup so didn't get the full experience of tasting both the layers at once but I can't imagine it being bad.
So I thought I try out this new place. It has a lot of cheese foam style bubble tea. I was recommended the soy cream milk tea with bean curd jelly. Cost about 8$ for a large and it was the bomb! It’s a step up from the normal tea original flavours so if you’re feeling a-bit classy I’d suggest it.
Interesting bubble tea shop.
The drinks are very good quality but they are a bit pricey $7 -$8 for a cup filled a large proportion of ice is a bit over the top.
Suggestion to customers - get half ice if possible.
Hands down the best bubble tea/ fruit tea place in Melbourne. Worth the drive to Springvale for it.
absolutely vibrantly fresh fruit concoctions! i got the mango cheese with pamelo and this was bursting with real mango! and the accompaniment of the juicy pamelo made the perfect pairing! if you are looking for a real fruit refreshing boba tea then this is the place to go!
only street parking available, and if ur in the area you already know how hard parking can be at times. staff was very friendly and was accommodating.
On a 35° day a cold kiwifruit tea is perfect to cool down. Clean shop + friendly staff = will be back again. Real tea taste and not overwhelmingly antionidant flavour or too sweet like other places.
Very nice bubble tea and all other drinks, not a fan of bubble teas but they made me have it every week.
Recommended.
So far my fav is creme brulee and Oreo matcha. Well, its a bubble tea, but this is the only place who makes me come back for more, i dont even know why. Their recipes just suit me best, so far.
Great tea and really nice decor, recommend any of the peach teas I love how they use real fruit in there teas everything taste really fresh and delicious, cheese foam is think and creamy just the way I like it. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Will go back this place is Turing to my got to spot of tea
