This place is definitely one of those local Springwood/Underwood hidden gems that is modest. It only has space for 8-10 people for dine in so their assumed business model is for takeaways and food-deliveries. Their food though? It’s nothing short of spectacular! Authentic Thai, spicy, tasty and very rich in flavours - definitely heavy handed with spices and all things nice! A group of us ordered their paw paw salad, soft shelled crab with curry, Kai Lan with pork and sticky rice - all amazing in their own right! Highly recommended!

During the previous lockdown. We decided to try and stay home as best we could while supporting business. The plan was to have 3 different take out meals over the week. We ordered from Soi 9 Thai first. We ordered special fried rice, satay chicken skewers, curry puffs and spring rolls. All items were delicious but the stand out was the special fried rice. I keep thinking I have found the perfect special fried rice but this one has now taken the lead. I ordered it three times and it is consistently amazing. Will definitely be ordering again.

We got take away from Soi 9 Thai Express for the first time tonight. We will definitely be eating there again. What fantastic, fresh, delicious food we enjoyed. We will be recommending this great place to friends and family.
