A week prior to this posting, my friend and I popped in for lunch at Nina's Restaurant & Bar. I personally share the same cultural heritage as Chef Irina. So it was a no brainer to order Borstch (savoury beetroot soup, w/sour cream). My late mother would have been impressed ! Congratulations Irina & Peter in creating a beautiful atmosphere at Nina's Restaurant & Bar. Your service is warm hearted and professional. It is evident your passion is and will continue to influence your cuisine and customer service. My friend and I came back a week later to sample the evening menu and we were battling with which dish to choose. There were so many delightful offerings on the menu. A conversasion with Chef Irina about our dilemma "We feel like seafood, but can't decide", led to ... "Surprise Us!' Our taste buds were not only suprised but impressed with flavour combinations. ..Tasting board - Beautifully presented and lots of lovely things to try. Rather partial to the terrine and cheese flavours. ..Crispy spiced chicken - mmm-mmm-mmmm. Thank you for this complimentary preview entree tasting. ..Tiger prawns / Vietnamese salad - Wonderful combination. Soooo look forward to ordering this dish again! ..Teriyaki Salmon / Noodles - What a delightful sweet yet savoury asian influenced dish. Salmon cooked to perfection. ..Chocolate salami with 'real chocolate' hot sauce & orange ice cream. WOW ! One of my personal bench marks for any eatery is their coffee. One word: DIVINE ! Look after that sexy husband Irina..... If only I was a couple of decades younger and single :D
