Review St Kilda Pier Kiosk - St Kilda

One of my favourite places to enjoy the sunset. Cafe got sweet and savoury based upon your mood. Best place to spend evenings. If you are lucky enough you can peek at penguins as well. Worth spending time for refresh.

Very nice food but serves are a little small for the price you pay. Great location. Friendly staff. A little cheaper and you'd get five. Went again tonight to try the new menu. Awesome. Very friendly staff.

We got caught out in the rain while walking along the Pier. The kiosk provided a nice cosy place to have a small drink and lunch. The staff were friendly, and the food delish. I really enjoyed the drink I ordered. I think it was vodka with infused chilli. I have forgotten the name, but definitely recommend it on a cold Autumn day. Will definitely go back again when we are down in Melbourne.

The location and view are excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food was OK (not stellar). The meatballs were a bit dry from being cooked well done and one of the mussels had tasted like it had gone bad (although the rest were fine). The Vanilla Slice was very good although I didn't like the frosting as it was too sweet for me (but others may like that).

Good place to dine and relax after a long walk. We thought that the food was overpriced but it is actually worth it! It tastes good. Keep it up! They ask you to find a table first before ordering, as you need to provide them your table number. The place is clean and has a pretty view.

Cute cafe with a view! The staff is warm and welcoming and the pastry case is worth a browse. Grab a window seat indoors or an outdoor bench and sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery. Quiet and quaint on gloomy days!

A lovely coffee shop. I ordered a pizza, and it was so delicious that it was way beyond my expectation. The staff are very nice and friendly. I hope they gain more and more popularity and earn lots of money.

Tasty dessert beautifully plated, peaceful location with a great view and outdoor tables sheltered from the wind on a cold day. The waitress was also lovely and very helpful

My absolute favourite Melbourne venue, the view is unreal the staff are great and the food and drinks even better. Iโ€™ve had a number of functions here from casual to formal and it caters for everything! Highly recommend to anyone. Sunday arvoโ€™s in summer are the best.

Hello everyone, the place is really nice but a good Italian connoisseur I noticed that the tables outside were a bit 'dirty. According to me 'outside you can not' eat under the sun this is' wrong, then for me the oysters that served me yesterday were really very ugly old and dry while they insisted that they were fresh of the day. Anyway the fresh oysters are beautiful swollen and succulent excuse for what I wrote but the customers are taken by the throat.

What a place! The walk may seem far but when you are greeted with outstanding food, countless drink options and a sensational view it is well worth it. Definitely a place to make memories at.

This place is unbelievable. Perfect location and setting on the water, the food is amazing and the staff and service is exceptional. Highly recommend for an event or just a sunday afternoon drink.

Fantastic food, excellent service, great drinks choice, atmosphere is glorious and the view is to die for. This place is highly recommended if you want to escape the hustle and bustle in the city to a harbour retreat for food and/or drinks.

I would definitely recommend this place, the staff were friendly, the food was delicious and stunning views of Melbourne Skyline and St Kilda Pier.

Had my 30th bday celebrations here and I could have not asked for better service. Amazing food and a setting to die for. Highly recommended.

Nicole and I wanted to say a massive thank you to Paul and all the Little Blue staff who made our wedding so wonderful. You were so flexible with the food options to bring together a brilliant vegan menu. The set up looked fantastic and exceeded our expectations.

The view on most days is enough to warrant the 5 stars! After a recent function we attended there, the staff & food were both on par with the spectacular views

I walked in because I had no wifi... I hoped so much for it but thought they might don't have any as it's located a bit further than the main land (walking distance thought and worthy). It was important for me to have it as I needed to catch up with some friends in Melbourne. The place from the distance looked just so amazzing that I did not want to miss the chance to get there. Wifi done, I enjoyed a nice and resonable meal and a great view from a table outside as well as a nice little talk with a girl from Southampton... the City of the Spitfire ๏ฟฝ. This place certainly made my day ๏ฟฝ.

This is a really fantastic place to watch the penguins ๐Ÿง come up and play in the evening. Get in early for a table with a view and settle in for a leisurely dinner and drinks with family and friends. The penguins are the cutest and the pics you can get as the sun sets over the water are bang on!!! Do it for the gram ๐Ÿค—

Walk down the St Kilda Pier and you will find this at the end of it. Even on a cold day it was toasty. Great views. Decent coffee. Friendly service.

Lovely cafe with an amazing view. I've been here several times and will always come back. Quick and super friendly service, great coffee and lattes! Also, recommend their smashed avo!ย
If you love coffee, beaches and a little breeze this is a must for you! Definitely recommended.
Four Or More
Had to sit on the side with not as good view as there was no wheelchair access to sit with other diners .. didnโ€™t help that staff member sat down on same bench table and proceeded to smoke ...

A beautiful and tranquil venue that serves the best coffee in all of st kilda. Nip in for a coffee or a frothy on the way to see the penguins.

Family dinner on a Friday night. This restaurant at the end of St Kilda Pier is in a perfect location facing west- ideal for watching the setting sun. An attractive rebuild, the restaurant features both a sheltered outdoor area and fully enclosed bistro style indoor area. We had starters of dips n bread, sweet potato chips and saganaki followed by fish 'n chips for all and quinoa beetroot salad for me. Desserts of lemon meringue pie. All food was beautifully presented, but taste lacking. Companions said fish wasn't great, chips slightly soggy, salad was boring and desserts sickly sweet (they buy them in). Service was prompt, friendly and very accomodating, ambiance ok
(nothing outstanding and one feels they could do more with the view), price reasonable.

I recommend giving it a try - mainly for the location. Close parking at St Kilda baths (beware the price).Vegetarian options limited.

Score out of 5:
Food: 0.6
Drink: 0.5
Service: 0.9
Ambiance: 0.7
Price: 0.6
Score 3.3 round up to 3.5

After a nice stroll along the St Kilda Beach Pier, it is time to have some snack inside this historical building.

It is a peaceful spot with gorgeous beach view. I think I am happy to just sit here and watch the world go by. We ordered some fish & chips to share. The chips were amazingly delicious, the battered fish tasted average.

A must-visit relaxing spot by the water.
Girl Eats Everything
Were told that we couldn't order hot drinks, only to see another couple order after us and receive hot drinks... Waiter offered no apology, only said that he had turned on the machine for the other couple. Rubbish service.

The coffee was surprisingly good! The cheesecake was just like Nanna used to make (mine worked in a large factory that mass produced cheesecake .. Your mileage might vary).

It's relaxing sitting and watching the wind blow people into the bay - and as I mentioned, the coffee was quite decent. But gourmet the food is not. Still, that's not why you come here.

AMAZING LOCATION! And that's all about that place. Coffee is not good. Service can work on communication skills. The place is quickly closed (5pm). It's a pity because the place is perfect to spend sunset and evening.

Bad Coffee. Went to St Kilda Pier Kiosk today (ANZAC Day) for a coffee. I ordered a Latte and a Long Black. My Latte came out looking like a Flat White. As there was a 10% surcharge for a public holiday I took it back and asked for it to be made again. When it finally came out the milk was still settling and the froth ended up taking up half the glass. May be a nice place to sit but not very good Barrista.

Location, location. How's the location of this cafe? Perched out on the St Kilda pier, it is a must visit. We sat outside in the au and soaked up the water views. Food options are basic but good enough. The chicken focaccia was decent as was the coffee. The waitress forgot to put through one of the coffees but didn't charge us for it which was a nice touch. Plenty of tourist frequent this spot and for good reason. It provides a typical Melbourne experience.
