My absolute favourite Melbourne venue, the view is unreal the staff are great and the food and drinks even better. I’ve had a number of functions here from casual to formal and it caters for everything! Highly recommend to anyone. Sunday arvo’s in summer are the best.
We have visited a few times and the food has never let us down we have enjoyed the ambience in the environment and the staff have always been attentive I really would recommend a visit 👍
This is a really fantastic place to watch the penguins 🐧 come up and play in the evening. Get in early for a table with a view and settle in for a leisurely dinner and drinks with family and friends. The penguins are the cutest and the pics you can get as the sun sets over the water are bang on!!! Do it for the gram 🤗
Walk down the St Kilda Pier and you will find this at the end of it. Even on a cold day it was toasty. Great views. Decent coffee. Friendly service.
Lovely cafe with an amazing view. I've been here several times and will always come back. Quick and super friendly service, great coffee and lattes! Also, recommend their smashed avo!
If you love coffee, beaches and a little breeze this is a must for you! Definitely recommended.
A beautiful and tranquil venue that serves the best coffee in all of st kilda. Nip in for a coffee or a frothy on the way to see the penguins.
Family dinner on a Friday night. This restaurant at the end of St Kilda Pier is in a perfect location facing west- ideal for watching the setting sun. An attractive rebuild, the restaurant features both a sheltered outdoor area and fully enclosed bistro style indoor area. We had starters of dips n bread, sweet potato chips and saganaki followed by fish 'n chips for all and quinoa beetroot salad for me. Desserts of lemon meringue pie. All food was beautifully presented, but taste lacking. Companions said fish wasn't great, chips slightly soggy, salad was boring and desserts sickly sweet (they buy them in). Service was prompt, friendly and very accomodating, ambiance ok
(nothing outstanding and one feels they could do more with the view), price reasonable.
I recommend giving it a try - mainly for the location. Close parking at St Kilda baths (beware the price).Vegetarian options limited.

After a nice stroll along the St Kilda Beach Pier, it is time to have some snack inside this historical building.
It is a peaceful spot with gorgeous beach view. I think I am happy to just sit here and watch the world go by. We ordered some fish & chips to share. The chips were amazingly delicious, the battered fish tasted average.
A must-visit relaxing spot by the water.
The coffee was surprisingly good! The cheesecake was just like Nanna used to make (mine worked in a large factory that mass produced cheesecake .. Your mileage might vary).
It's relaxing sitting and watching the wind blow people into the bay - and as I mentioned, the coffee was quite decent. But gourmet the food is not. Still, that's not why you come here.
AMAZING LOCATION! And that's all about that place. Coffee is not good. Service can work on communication skills. The place is quickly closed (5pm). It's a pity because the place is perfect to spend sunset and evening.
Location, location. How's the location of this cafe? Perched out on the St Kilda pier, it is a must visit. We sat outside in the au and soaked up the water views. Food options are basic but good enough. The chicken focaccia was decent as was the coffee. The waitress forgot to put through one of the coffees but didn't charge us for it which was a nice touch. Plenty of tourist frequent this spot and for good reason. It provides a typical Melbourne experience.
One of my favourite places to enjoy the sunset. Cafe got sweet and savoury based upon your mood. Best place to spend evenings.
If you are lucky enough you can peek at penguins as well.
Worth spending time for refresh.
Very nice food but serves are a little small for the price you pay. Great location. Friendly staff. A little cheaper and you'd get five. Went again tonight to try the new menu. Awesome. Very friendly staff.
We got caught out in the rain while walking along the Pier. The kiosk provided a nice cosy place to have a small drink and lunch. The staff were friendly, and the food delish. I really enjoyed the drink I ordered. I think it was vodka with infused chilli. I have forgotten the name, but definitely recommend it on a cold Autumn day.
Will definitely go back again when we are down in Melbourne.
Good place to dine and relax after a long walk.
We thought that the food was overpriced but it is actually worth it! It tastes good. Keep it up!
They ask you to find a table first before ordering, as you need to provide them your table number.
The place is clean and has a pretty view.
Cute cafe with a view! The staff is warm and welcoming and the pastry case is worth a browse. Grab a window seat indoors or an outdoor bench and sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery. Quiet and quaint on gloomy days!
A lovely coffee shop.
I ordered a pizza, and it was so delicious that it was way beyond my expectation.
The staff are very nice and friendly.
I hope they gain more and more popularity and earn lots of money.
Tasty dessert beautifully plated, peaceful location with a great view and outdoor tables sheltered from the wind on a cold day. The waitress was also lovely and very helpful
