Paper Fish - St Kilda - Photo album

Loved my time here! Slightly tucked away and shaded, this place can be easily missed. Great for a casual beach atmosphere and people watching. I had the sweet potato chips and granadier and it was fresh and delicious. I was worried the batter would be too thick or doughy but it was thin and crispy!
Sufficiently tasty food: fish tacos are bomb, prawn taco not so much. Sweet potato chips are great if you like them well fried, the potato cake was very good, their fried stuff is excellent in terms of seasoning and they do fry them well. One complaint is the order system, the staff have to scream n
I had the 3 taco deal and loved them. They consist of two crispy flash fried prawns and a nice crunchy slaw. The fish we had was also really good, crispy on the outside and nice and tender on the inside. I also tried the blood red orange and Campari slushie very refreshing for a warm autumn evening.
One of the best fish and chips in Melbourne in a prime location by the beach. The food portion is generous and the service is fast. Very nice and welcoming staff. Definitely recommended.
Fantastic location. Fish and chips are okay, price is reasonably. We got the burleigh basket and there's too much food for the price of $29
Great find for fresh fish and calamari. You can have it grilled or fried. It’s a cheaper option compared to other seafood restaurants along the water. There’s a nice spot to eat outdoors and the employees are very friendly.
We really enjoyed the fish and chips here. Its not your traditional fish and chips, the chips are crinkle cut and have a unique but nice seasoning on it. The calamari rings could do with more batter and would prefer a normal potato cake over the Japanese potato. But overall, an enjoyable experience
Great shaded spot, nicely tucked away but with views to the beach and people passing by. Order at the window and take a seat or take away. Once youre done, or if you've already eaten elsewhere, grab a deliciously frozen Pure Pop like we did and continue walking along the beach. Wheelchair accessi
