Today is Friday, the day to try things (or food!) different from what you used to! Well, saying that, today I ate at an unique place Asian fusion (Taiwan and Hong Kong influences) restaurant at North Shores, in Sydney. This place surprised me! The decoration was inspired in a masquerade party but at the same time, very cozy place. Swipe to see the foods closer: I ordered the Black tea Latte with homemade taffy and your own way to draw your art! Yes! It came with charcoal and beetroot liquids aside so you can decorate your own latte Loved this idea, seriously! Then, as savoury, I had the Traditional Duck Wrap - Cumin duck fillet, carrot, onion, spring onion, cucumber, homemade egg wrap and hoisin sauce. Super tasty, mix of flavours! Sweet..OMG! I finally tried the famous Egg Waffle, really popular in Hong Kong ! This one is a fancy buddy though I had with Matcha ice cream and Red Beans and mixed fruit. It was so delicious and pretty that I had a picture even closer And hold down! I haven’t eaten everything as you probably are thinking I’ve just tried half each, not bad right? It was part of my 20% choice for my week, so let’s eat with no drama or feeling blame! If you live in Sydney, do yourself a favor and try this, please! They are 5min from St Lenard’s station!

Just love the ambience of this place. They serve delicious beef bowl, whether it is flamin or just simply ox tongue. I love them both.

A nice quite place for Brunch. Tried soft shell crab congee and Black Devil pearl milk tea this time as per Instagram. The food was a bit overpriced but tasty. It’s worth a try though.

We came here for lunch as we heard about this place through Instagram and saw how many aesthetic photos there were. The dragon fruit drink was super cute and unique and tasted delicious. Food was well seasoned and cooked to perfection.

We came here for dinner, despite this place being known as a brunch cafe, and quite enjoyed my experience there. The staff are friendly and explained the dishes when served. The soft shell crab congee was flavourful but not very hot when served. It was awesome watching the waiter blow torching the wagyu bowl. The ox tongue bowl was nice but meat was too chewy. Overall, relaxing experience.

Every now and then, it’s always great to experience a pleasant thrill when it comes to our food. There’s no denying that we have favourites, but for those who welcome something different, there are places like Masque, with a menu to satisfy both sides of a person’s palette: the side of us that just wants something simple, and the other side that likes things on the wilder side.

It's a cute little place in St Leonards great for brunch, lunch or dinner. All the food that we ordered was great and all very flavorful. They have some interesting drinks as well. The Magic colour changing drink and the pink lady are both worth trying. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
I'd love to see more vegetarian options on the menu though.

Love love LOVE this place! So many innovated dishes and they all taste good! The flavor combinations were spot on! My favorites are definitely the ox tongue bowl, lobster udon and duck breast dish. Also must order the Pearls Soufflé! Can’t wait for my next visit and definitely would recommend to friends and family. 10/10 service!

We came here for brunch and was able to get a table straight away. We ordered the açai smoothie, flaming wagyu bowl and the soufflé brûlée pancake with bobas. The açai drink was very refreshing, the wagyu bowl was delicious and the 3 condiments it came with were really nice (especially the tofu). The pancake was absolutely amazing!!! Would definitely have again! I would come back here next time to try the other dishes and the puppy mousse dessert.

This is recommended by many Taiwanese friends. We went there on a weekday afternoon. No people at all. Great food and friendly services with fancy and relaxing environment. Would go there again if I am around St Leonards.

We have been to this cosy cafe quite a few times and not a single visit has disappointed us. We came to try the 2 new dishes they had on the menu and as always, the food really blew us away!

1. Lobster Udon ($35) - the super creamy sauce and the blowtorch seared lobster left us craving for more 👌 A very unique dish that I don’t think can be found elsewhere in Sydney.

2. Cloudy Pancake ($21) - it is essentially the Japanese soufflé pancake with creme brûlée sauce and brown sugar pearls. It was so fluffy and not too sweet so you can’t really stop eating 😆 It’s that yummy.

3. Soft Shell Crab Congee ($24) - our all time favourite. Crispy soft shell crab on a flavourful bowl of congee - a must order especially in the winter. You can’t go wrong with this.

4. Pink Lady ($8.5) - A refreshing drink made from earl grey tea, citrus, honey, chia seeds, peach jelly and a special dragronfruit ice ball. This drink goes very well with all the dishes we ordered.

The owner was very friendly and service was on point. Will definitely come back again soon!

Unique Asian fusion restaurant. They have a wide variety of dishes. Most dishes are quite pricey with expensive ingredients, but the portion size is a bit small. Personally, I like the lobster udon and softshell crab congee. They don't have many seats inside. You should always book before attending. You wouldn't get a seat if you just show up. Great service and nice atmosphere.

Wagyu Beef Flaming Bowl was delicious, the rest of the food was fairly average but adequately tasty. We enjoyed the experience and the cloudy pancakes :)

The seating arrangements didn’t follow covid protocol as there was people sitting right next to us and people sitting next to them. Besides that the food was good but for the ‘pink lady’ drink it would’ve been good if the dragon fruit wasn’t incased in ice and with the soufflé pancake 10/10 but some pearls were hard. Good luck on your last day Mas.Que staff!

Probably one of the best brunch I’ve had in Sydney! Very unique and delicious food with so many choices. Thanks to the amazing staff who patiently help us to choose the dish from the menu. Will definitely visit again.

Had a lovely time at Mas.que, the staff and owner were very accommodating and lovely to chat to. They have good service and their coffee is so delicious, served with a little gold leaf on top! They serve high grade Wagyu Beef & Salmon here so I had to try the Flaming bowl and i definitely recommend it! The Truffle Kombu Tsuyu sauce was just next level, i wanted a whole jug of it! Haha I also loved the Tiawanese popcorn chicken, and the 'My puppy' chocolate nutella mousse dessert was the cutest thing. It had a surprising lemon cake inside of the mousse and it tasted delicious and not too heavy. Some different and unique dishes here, definitely try their new bubble teas that have little pops of flavour in them!

Came here for dinner, the service was great, even though the waitress that evening didn't speak much english. The food was delicious and extremely well presented, Instagram worthy. The dishes are of decent size that won't leave you hungry. This restaurant is also decently priced. They an amazing looking dessert, a Mouse Puppy dog. The desserts are on the slightly more expensive side, but the Soufle Pancake with Brulee was very nice. Be prepared to wait for a table should you go on the weekend during lunch time.
