I had the Aussie Beerenburger. Soooo good! Highly recommend it. Can't fault it. Such a great place & good service. Even had a loo and not all of the gourmet Burger places have one so that's a bonus too. Only issue I had was not all of what's on offer was on the menu. There are little signs scattered around with various extra things they offer. It wasn't until after I had ordered (too long after) that I noticed a sign on the other side of the counter that said you offer sweet potato fries. Which I would have been keen to have substituted my normal fries for had I known. But the burger was amazing so who cares. So far a front runner in all the Burger places I've been to thus far. :) Which is most by now.

Can't fault it.....food was amazing, service was exceptional, they went out of their way to make our evening special......we took a cake as it was my son's birthday, they had put decorations on the table, brought the cake out with candles offered to cut and serve for us.....simply perfect and the effort was genuine.....loved it....only fault.....it's so far from where we live.�

Epic Hot Sauce Tofu Burger!! Great customer service, the girl making me aware there was egg in the mixture just in case I was vegan. Amazing, goes to the top of my list of Adelaides best Veggie burger!
I got the Rocky Mountain burger and it was incredible! Perfectly cooked and great toppings with a soft bun. The onion rings were good, but too salty. I have been to many burger joints around the city and this ones the best so far!
The burgers here arent anything to rave about but they are good when your in need of a quick feed. They have nice seasoning on their chips. I enjoy this burger place and like that they offer meals with smaller sized burgers.
Bought the groupon/scoopon deal for a weekend lunch. Ordered Rocky Mountain High & Mushroom Burgers. Both were delicious. Loved the decor and the vibe. We are happy.
I am appalled by the number of negative comments about Burger Foundry but all I can say is that the burgers and the add-ons are well-cooked and also good combination, people are nice and chips are awesome. My favourite is the Texan Madness with its nice spicy flavour. :) I've been here several times both Magill and Torrensville, and will still come back again.
Was out and about yesterday with a friend and decided on a burger from The Burger Foundry. We ordered our burgers but when we told them where we wanted to sit the server told us that the council only allowed them to have a certain number of seats at lunch time and that area was closed. Why do councils do that?
We ordered burgers (Texan Madness and a Aussie Beerenberger), chips and onion rings. There are chicken and vegetarian burger options. The burgers were well made and presented (photo of the Aussie Beerenberger attached). The ingredients used appeared fresh and of a good quality. The onion rings were average, huge but the coating was a let down, my friend said the chips were undercooked but the flavouring was good.
The decor was pseudo rustic but appealing. The chef's area has a glass front allowing the diners to watch the food prep.
The servers were polite and helpful.
In summary, well worth a visit for a good burger in a pleasant environment.
The burgers are tasty and we can taste that the ingredients are so fresh. Jammmmm packed with tasty fillings. Kickass chipsssssss! OMG! we'd rather pay the price for a real burger at Burger Foundry than paying $1 less for a tiny "kids burger" elsewhere though. Keep it up, Burger Foundry!
HUGE, my first word after having it, i got trouble in finishing the whole one. and of course the burger was awesome itself, that's why we keep coming back every time when we are in Adelaide.
Burgers here are so good! They're huge and jam packed with tasty ingredients. The menu is creative - it's hard to pick which burger you want. Many beef options and some chicken & vegetable. Have salads and ribs too, although I haven't tried these. Staff friendly and service is fast. Will definitely come here again for a burger fix.
Great value for what you pay. Flavours are bold and ingredients very fresh. Thumbs up! Burger is the trend in town, but this one is totally amazing.
So tasty! One of the best burgers I've had was the new vegan burger, which has fried tofu and a tandoori-style vegetable pickle. The staff member that served us was really friendly and knowledgable.
Tried the new vegan burger here today and it was great. Spicy Indian pickles gave it a great kick, tofu was really crispy and the seeded bun was lovely, the only thing I would change is to add avo next time. Girl at the counter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Recommend and will return.
Good enough Burgers. Finally got to Burger Foundry (it's on the other side of town from me) and Yes it's a good Burger Place.
I tried their country special Christmas Gobbler (A Turkey patty and slices of Ham and roast Pumpkin. All in all it was pretty good.. The patty was a bit dense and dry, but that could be the turkey...
The meal came with some Sweet Potato Fries.. The first lot arrived cold. Not a good start, but when I handed them back to the waitress she immediately got another lot.. Does this happen often I wonder.
I'll give them another go, when they open their closer Torrensville Store.. They could be in the top 10, but not one of the top few burger places.

By far one of the best burgers I had in my life and the best I had in Adelaide.
I had the Rocky Mountain burger with chips. The place, for a start is well designed with welcoming ambient. The chips are cooked perfectly with the right amount of seasoning. But the burger is the real deal. The meat cooked to perfection, nice and juicy. And the combination of ingredients is just great. Will be back many times more.
Massive burgers although I find the party a little "flat". But tasty nevertheless. Thick chips were also good. I do prefer burger theory though but at least you don't have to hunt this store down.

A decent meal. Hearing about burger foundry for a while, I've always wanted to try it, and on Friday night, myself and two friends went there. It was a very small burger bar, with only three or four table, a drinks cabinet, the counter and the back of house. It was a warming atmosphere which is required for cold nights.
We got around to ordering and there seemed to be no problems with communication, and the prices were not too bad either - about $20 for a decent sized burger, chips and a drink.
However, come time to bring out the food, it seemed that my order of chips had not been placed but my friends had and he received his. I enquired about my serve of chips and the order had not been placed, which I clearly did ask for. However, the redeemed themselves by bringing out the chips that were not ordered for free of charge. It also seemed we werent the only ones who fell victim for this communication error as two other customers didn't receive their chips either.
With communication aside, the service was quite friendly. The burgers were also beautiful. They were quite large and the meat patties were thick and juicy. However my friend ordered jalapenos extra in his burger, but in it he got half a chilli with all the seeds intact.. dont know what happened there.
The chips were quite fatty though and I thought they were a bit undercooked.
Overall though, burger foundry was quite a nice experience if you are going solely for a tasty burger and a drink.
Had my first Texan Madness in a few months; quantity was down on last year, but quality prevails. Don't get lost in these negative reviews; this is a small business doing their thing well. If they could reach the dizzy heights of the early months, there would be a huge queue every night. When they get something like the original buns and size back, this will be a world beater. Until then, a frikkin good burger on Magill. Don't rely on someone and their wife to give you the same review. Give it a go yourself.
Done the foundry a few times. Burgers are ok, the waiting time is atrocious. Even tried a phone order but that didn't seem to help.
If you are in a rush, this is not the place to go, however the burgers are well worth waiting for and the service is great. This is what keeps me going back again and again.
Relatively good burgers. Size 9/10 (but order 2 if you've got a cobra hunger); quality and taste 7/10; waiting time 2/10. Need to order by phone around 1 hour before you plan on eating and there isn't enough seating, which is a real shame because it's the sort of place that would do well if you could buy some beer and take a seat whilst you wait.

Best burger in adelaide. These are really Great Burgers. The bun is as it should be - good, meat is very good quality, salad tomato/mesclun greens are fresh and excellent sauces ( tho' tex-mex is very hot - too much for me). And the burgers are real large.
At last, a burger that has a fantastic balance of flavors - oh, it is HOT!! I will be back again.

Great food, but.. Went to the "Burger Foundry", on Saturday afternoon. It was a very warm day & the airconditioner was struggling, which made the "dining in" experience uncomfortable. The service was polite but somewhat casual, the ambience is not really suited to dining in as it is a very small area. Having said all of that, the burgers were amazing, we had the Texan madness & the Rocky Mountain High, both were full of flavour, the lettuce was fresh & crisp. The chips were a tad overcooked but not to the point that we didn't enjoy them. Overall we would reccomend this as a great takeaway burger joint. Maybe try the "dine in" on a cooler day.
Burgers take awhile to be handmade but are well worth the wait. Huge authentic gourmet flavours, golden thick cut chips and delicious milkshakes - peanut butter wolf is amazing! Definitely recommend preordering by phone to save the wait and get it take away as there's only extremely limited dine-in space.
Nice burger. I went to Burger Foundry for lunch not long ago and loved it. The burger was juicy and the flavours were good, not to mention the burgers are huge! They are a bit expensive but you pay for the quality ingredients and the huge size, and in any case the burger is a meal in itself. I have heard the service is slow here, it is indeed a very small shop, however I went at lunchtime and even though there were a few people waiting our food did not take long. I ordered the Napolitana burger, which had a really nice flavour. All in all I would definitely return to Burger Foundry, but probably not at dinner time, given what I have read on this site.
From vegetarian to carnivore.... I had been vegetarian for nine months... finally caved and went to burger foundry for my first real piece of meat!
The burgers here are great, very filling though. If you have a small stomach, buy one to share with your friend (and that way you can save room for their awesome chips! really authentic... I love that the potato skin is left on!)
I split the alpine and texan madness with my friend. I loved the sauces and salsa in the texan madness... really flavourful and punchy. And the burgers are not greasy at all... just a tad messy to eat... but thats what makes a great burger!
The only improvement I suggest is more variety in the vegetarian options. It would be great to see an actual vego burger on the menu instead of a mushroom burger... that being said, I should probably try it first before I critisize it ;)

Rocky Mountain Texas Cowboy. My girlfriend and I have been planning to go to this place for 2 days now, and finally decided to make the short trip today. We pre-ordered the Texan and the Rocky Mountain High after reading all the reviews about wait times and after 20mins, drove down to pick up our burgers.
once we got home again, we decided to unwrap our gigantic burgers - and were very happy with the results.
My girl had the Rocky mountain and initial review was that it didn't have WOW factor. she thought it would taste better with baby spinach as the greens - to maintain the crunch of the greens. But after watching her finish the entire burger, the jury was back with a verdict - delicious. It even inspired her to think up alternative burger combinations - even coining a name for one (the italian stallion)
I had the Texan - and damn it was spicy! but every mouthwatering, sweat inducing bite was worth it until - 2 bites left, I threw in the towel - it was spicy, delicious, tender and the only complaint, the greens struggled with all the other flavours in the burger.
unfortunately the lads ran out of chips so we didn't get to experience the sogginess - so sacriligiously we picked up some from Oportos.
we'd definitely go back to try the other flavours - 8/10
BEST BURGER IN ADELAIDE. I got there texan burger. they had alot of exotic hot sauses to put on it so i soaked it in some. Best burger ive ever had in my life. It was almost like a peice of art work. When i got home i sat and watched tv thinkin....jesus made that burger, Masterpeice ! Looked alot better then the above photo. So meny different flavors i didnt ever think i would experiance with a burger. Eating it i had an explosive burgasm. 9/10 cant get much better then this
They got it made!. Lordy they have some seriously scrummy burgers. Stopped by to eat in, ended up getting some burgers to take away and it was worth the wait. Good food takes time people, this is not MccyD's!
They make those ones that you eat & you're so full but you have to keep eating, because its too damn good and you don't want to waste any. Perfectly well done beef, good portions of salads & cheese. Yum.
The chips were pretty awesome too, slighly soggy, because they are well greasy, but actually quite like them like that.
We'll be back!
Average burger overcooked chips were soggy and burnt shop is way too small took them way too long to prepare which ties in with the fact that it was overcooked and me personally I didn't rate the spices

I've been wanting to visit Burger Foundry for a while, and finally the chance presented itself. We were excited about trying the Good Mojo, but after taking a look at the menu I decided on the Jamaican Jerk burger... Best choice of the night! While we did have to wait about 20 mins, we had a table (we were eating in) and had purchases from the nearby Chilli Mojo store to discuss. Once we got our lovingly hand-grilled,chef prepared burgers we dug in, and I think it's def the nicest chicken burger I've ever had- nicely spiced,with enough mayo and greens to complement the fresh chicken taste. The chicken was very nicely cooked also. Apparently the Good Mojo burgers were just as good,the beef patties nicely done also. The buns were outstanding, crunchy and chewy andable to withstand the vigours of holding a burger in one hand while eating fries - I'd love to know where they get them from! we also ordered fries, the basket was full of tasty 'home fries' - with the skins still on and lightly seasoned, these were tasty chis which I wish I could fond around town more often. My friend also ordered a milkshake, apparently also thick, creamy and exceptionally tasty. All round, we loved Burger Foundry and can't wait to try a few new burgers next visit!
As far as the menu is concerned, all the popular burgers have been retained, some of the existing burgers have undergone name changes and new burgers have been introduced. On top of that, two types of pork ribs, a couple of extra sides, and a new salad are now being offered.

Beef Burger, Napolitana this time, mesclun greens, bruschetta, basil aioli and melted mozzarella cheese. Great combo for a burger, I was surprised how nice the basil was. Pattys here are always well done, but aren't dry or chewy, they still have a good level of moisture. The chips are great and so are the shakes.
I have heard of this place previously and its famous deliciously large burgers so one night the temptation got the better of us. Burger Foundry is right on Magill Road in St Morris. Situated in the Eastern suburbs is this tiny place with possibly 4 or 6 seats for eating in so most people seem to opt for the takeaway option. The place was busy and cramped with people waiting and then I realized why. While they were popular and orders kept coming in, the waiting time was also incredibly long but more on that later. The four of us finally decided on what we wanted and happily ordered four burgers and two bags of chips. Then came the moment of truth - "It's a 45 minute wait for burgers". WHAT THE! Do they cook the patties one at a time? Is the cow still alive? How long does it take to put a burger together? Okay so our fury was exaggerated because we were starving and also had just traveled a long way to get here but we're here now and I want that burger. In the meantime we went to Chocol
I know there’s a fair few bad reviews out there for the place, and a lot of very mixed reviews, but trust me on this. They are capable of pumping out a good burger.
I have to start with a fact - the online menu does NOT do this place justice!
They have house specialties like butter chicken burgers, fish burgers, kimchi salsa etc...
You have to visit in person to get the full experience and range.
What was the best? Clearly home made and cared for. The caramelised onions were actually smokey!! How lovely!! And had moisture and crunch...not from a jar or taken too far...made on the premises!!
3 burgers tried, and even a curve ball "can you please do this?", never too much trouble, made with care and attention, lived up to the promise on the menu and this is an instant repeat.
The people, the place, the value for money and the taste - winner winner.
Perhaps my new favourite burger joint in Adelaide (sorry Nordburger).

After a decade (or maybe even more), this place still serve pretty decent burgers! The size has definitely shrunk, luckily the taste hasn't suffered. We had the Swiss and Blue Steel burgers - the buns aren't brioche but they were still delicious as they weren't doughy, whereas the patties were nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked. We would've liked more blue cheese in the Blue Steel, but we could still taste (a bit) of it. Onion rings were 'fat', juicy and cruncy with a home made coating. Overall, we didn't have any complaints, in fact we might even drop in again when we're in the area.
Their Vegan Burgers are delicious.🍔
( mushroom or sweet potato ) are my favourite. Once you have visited their establishment you cannot resist going back for their food.
The home made, Sweet Potato chips are very tasty and Moorish.🍟 👍
The staff are very helpful and friendly.
Take away or eat in. Eat in and enjoy the atmosphere of the building where you can see the food being prepared.

One of the most underrated buger joints in Adelaide imo! Have been going there for a few years now and they consistently serve up great burgers and good value for $.
We have eaten here a couple dozen times - we keep coming back the 15km because the burgers are so good, and reasonably priced - I like my burger to NOT be covered in sauces and mayo and condiments - the plain burger of bread, quality beef, fresh salad should speak for itself - and here it does ! Today's burger was the usual delicious combination of roll, beef, cheese and salad, $10 for a superb hamburger... and to top it off the couple who run the place are sweet people, a really positive experience.
K-burger on gluten free bun! Awesome balance of kimchi and sriracha sauce with organic egg and bacon.
So good and all ticks from me!
Come here often for Lunch special ($10 burger + chips + drink). Burgers always tasty. On tuesdays, there is $0.50 wing special - again very tasty, with buffalo sauce being a personal favoutite
