What an absolute hidden gem... This place "re-writes" what a country pub is, in such a good way! Modern yet classic. The front bar is really nice and the outdoor deck and lawn makes you feel like you're eating in a good mates backyard. Food was top notch and the service was great, kudos to the young man serving tables tonight, he delivered some of the most genuine and friendly customer service I've experienced in a long time. Love this place and will be sure to come back soon!
What a beautiful place to have dinner! The building, built in the 1850's has been fully refurbished, inside and out. There is a gorgeous decking area with an open fire outside and lovely dining area with works of art around the walls. The menu selection has the usual well loved pub meals, including schnitzel and burgers, but also contains some interesting more gourmet items, such as Thai red curry duck and well above average, beautiful and amazing desserts to choose from.
Staff are very friendly and accommodating as well. I will definitely be back!
The renovations are excellent and there is a good range of local wines by the glass. Dining room was warm and comfortable and already popular on a rainy Thursday night only two weeks after opening. We had the vegan Mushroom Ragout and Fish and Chips and they were both really good. My berry panacotta was a lovely finish to the meal and my husband enjoyed his coffee. A great night! 😎
Our first visit here and it was amazingly good! Excellent lunch with possibly the best pub food we have ever had, my lamb dish was in the top 10 meals I have ever eaten out. Brian provided top notch service and the drink list is very good. Well worth the effort to visit. We will certainly be back soon!
Gorgeous pub with lots of interesting art work and hand printed fabric. Our table of 8 had nothing but totally delicious food and we all complemented the chef. My meal of prawn linguini was the tastiest I've ever eaten and a generous serving of prawns too.
Relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff.. Family dining, plenty of outdoor seating.
Clean toilets, plenty of parking. Nice genuine country pub
