We have been travelling around Tassie with our 2yo for over 2 weeks and dining out once in each town we stay.. this hasn't always been easy with limited options at times but last night after a last minute decision to dine here, we are so glad be did! Luckily didn't lose my head been bitten off with unfriendly service. Someone needs to remind the staff they are in a customer service industry. Try and be friendly. Your town is a tourist destination it's not all about you. To top it off found several pieces hard plastic in my food - which got stuck

Had the vegetarian schnitzel which looks like it was house made which was a nice touch. Tasted pretty nice and a good-sized portion. Have included a photo so you can see what you’re getting if you order this also. Good service!

Went to the pub for a bar meal. I never eat all my chips but here I couldn’t hold back! PERFECT! Seasoning so yummy and the calamari was soft and delicious. Seriously- for $16!!!! And super friendly service.

The food was really good for pub grub. All 6 at our table enjoyed their meals. I had the beer battered flathead. The fish was great, the batter was almost tempura like in its lightness. The chips were crispy & the salad was fresh. I what more can you ask for.

Road out to this isolated small lighthouse is reasonable gravel. Some very nice rocky beach vistas.
