The staff here is real good. I ordered for their specialty dish and I was amazed to see the perfection they had put into making the schnitzel. It was real soft and crispy and forget oil, I coulnt just say it was fried at all. Really good place to have one!
Best fried schnitzel on this side of town! Really satisfying golden crumb and not too oily!!! Cant wait to go back actually! Good service too.
I believe this place deserves a much higher rating because the food is great, it’s not pricey, the ambiance is great and there are many tables so you don’t have to wait. I came here with two of my friends and ordered the hot pot with cheese and oml it was probably one of the best things I’ve eaten this year. I am very keen on coming back on my birthday with more friends. Really recommend this restaurant. 5 Stars!!
Cause I can't give a 3.5, 4 * will be close enough.
Busy during dinner time even for a Tuesday, but we still got seated pretty fast.
The menu isn't too big.
Pretty much every table had a schnitzel ordered, so we did too. Unlucky for us the chicken was sold out so we ordered pork instead, $18.
It was nice and crispy and such a large portion. The sauce that comes with it is sweet and creamy.
I ordered the spicey seafood silken tofu soup and asked for it to be mild. The silken tofu is so smooth, just glides off your spoon. Texture-wise, it's nicer than the regular hard tofu in other soups.
Thoroughly enjoyed my soup as it had a good amount of seafood and tofu.
Nice, simples, easy dinner here. Definitely dining again

My favourite comfort food in Strathfield! Love their Bossam, Schnitzel and Army boy stew. Their kimchi is also the best kimchi I’ve had in Sydney! Highly recommend
Try out the chicken schnitzel here... serving size is huge and makes the dish worth it for the price. Service is great, staff are always friendly. The store is located across from strathfield plaza so parking is not a problem.
Ddeokbokki here is my go to order. It comes in a massive hot pot sized pan which cooks at your table. You can add extras to it (eg cheese, ramyun). The tonkatsu is also nice here.
Alrose garden is honestly my favourite restaurant in Strathfield - their katsu don even being stuffed with oozy cheese inside are to die for. The size of the katsu don is massive, and can be shared between two people. In general, the portion sizes of the dishes are massive and worth every cent. I don't have any negative towards the food. Service is a bit...they tend to treat Koreans better. When we entered no greeting whatsoever, just utter silence. I just felt a bit awkward? Of course I will continue to visit because of the food ^^
Quick service and food was great... friendly helpful staff... always clean...great place to chill at any time of day. #cousinloveschickenschnitzel
What's with the low score? Bizarre considering Alrose is one of the most popular Korean restaurants in Strathfield if not all of Sydney. They're famous for their fried chicken, although their prices have gone up recently despite being the same size. The ddeokbokki hotpot is also nice and decently priced despite the rise in costs.
We always come by here when we want to eat pork schnitzel. Been here many years but the taste is still the best. Also I recomend beef bone stew and spicy cold noodle.
Yummy Korean food with fresh and delicious side dishes. Good place to chill out with friends.
I’ve been here many times, always coming back with friends and making sure we at least order one dish of their signature schnitzel. Always done well, crispy and flaky. But I find it a bit pricey at $26-28 and +$2 for chips (instead of rice). The only thing missing here are side dishes! Only kimchi and pickled radish are usually served here.
Read quite a few reviews regarding their signature schnitzel. The schnitzel was light and flaky, but there wasnt too much meat on it. Also had their dumplings, and although the serving was quite large, I've had a little bit better elsewhere. The service was excellent and the premises clean.
